I'm using a total of three solvents for making hash oil. Those are acetone, naphtha, and everclear. Acetone gets in your body every time you smell nail polish remover, in small quantities. But because it evaporates at room temperature, it'll disappear very quickly. Naphtha is the fuel they use for zippo lighters. Ever take a hit from a bong that was being lit by one of those things? Then you've had naphtha in your body. Naphtha also evaporates at room temperature and will disappear quickly. Everclear you may have drank straight up. All of these things have strong smells, so you can tell if there's any in a given sample. You guys are sooo wrong i would not smoke anything made from so many chemicals, you are never able to get them all out esspiecially not by just letting it sit out over night. You are still smoking probably half of the chemicals.

I'm using baking soda, but I'm pretty sure you agree that's harmless. The only dangerous chemical I'm using is sulfuric acid. Even though that stuff can cause all sorts of problems when concentrated, I'm only going to be using a few drops which will be neutralized anyway. And I managed to get my hands on pure sulfuric acid, so no impurities. Have you ever eaten dry fruit? Guess what, they use sulfuric acid to treat that.
I guess my point is that you need to understand all the chemicals you're dealing with so you can know exactly what's going into your body. For instance, I'd much rather smoke my own hash oil than smoke Mexican brickweed, which is doused in who knows what pesticides.
