Yeah i just got home. Checked with the laser thermometer. 37c outside ambient
Inside my shed ambient is now 33c whereas yesterday it would have been a good 5-10 degrees hotter than outside.

inside my tent is the best though. Canopy level was only 26c!!!! Thats awesome. Better than i hoped. Interestingly one of the ducts came off somehow (probably because i was rushing in the heat yesterday sweating my arse off putting them on) the tent that had one duct off so was pulling half from inside the shed and half from outside had a canopy temp of 33c same as the shed ambient temp
that's an xcelent result. Nice!
I exhaust outside but my intake is room temp. Id like to hook up an intake but the room is on the wrong side of the shed.

Damn just did a check over on the girls and one Texas butter is showing herm issues :( this is the weirdest growing one with mutants leaves.... maybe it was a bad seed I dunno I don’t have light leaks.... well don’t think I do, so kill it or chuck it outside?
Take a few cuttings. Seems the cuttings may not hermie. (judging from the convo a week or so ago)

Remember I was talking about trying to reduce my exit vortex sound? I bought some PVC pipe during the week and ill drill holes in a 6 inch with an end cap on it that will sit inside a 10 inch pvc pipe. The xaust will go into the 6inch, slow down and disperse thru the holes and hopefully the 10 inch will help dampen the sound.
I thought about the bucket full of sponge idea Leigh posted but im concerned about mould and the air restriction working the fan harder. Slow is silent- Cue good Submarine movie.

I have seen that a lot actually. Plants that throw a few nuts early in flower. Pick em off and you never see them again. Not even on the clone.

You have to ask yourself is it worth the risk. For me i have always said yes because my grow is small and i can pull a plant out andncheck it over easy enough

I thought about it. If the fans were working too hard pulling air in from outside i probably would but because i have 2 decent size intakes and such oversized fans for the space it doesnt seem necessary. Although it would be nice to get the extra 100mm - 200mm of space in the tent that i lose from the sides sucking in
Do you have all the vents open on the tent man?

im using the black silicon duct. Its an upgrade from the silver but not as good as the insulated. The sound im trying to quieten is the end vortex rush of the air. Im using a silenced fan on a fairly low speed. From inside the shed the only sound you can hear is the circulating fan - not much I can do about that and a radio on low covers that as well as my beer fridge hum.. But outside the shed window you can hear the vortex. Except in winter when I use the warm exiting air as a heater and then the sounds in the shed.
