Two points that have been made that i feel are worth emphasizing.
1. Don't default to asshole mode. This goes for people who are trying to correct misinformation. Immediately shaming a noob for having bad info will most often result in them not listening to a thing you say, no matter how much acurate information you are trying to pass on.
This ALSO goes for those who noobs with the bad info. Don't default to a defensive posture because you are misinformed. Knowledge is NOT your identity. You are not being being personally demeaned just because you listened to bad sources. Most people on here are legitimately trying to keep you from fucking up.
2. Yes, we are all entitled to our opinions. Here is where people got it fucked up.....
Your opinion is not necessarily worth a shit just because you have the right to have it. I'm entitled to believe the moon is made out of skittles. But thats obviously nonsense and nobody is required to respect nonsensical beliefs.
