Definitely seeing less floor! Looking good!
Stretching is a given and highly variable depending on genetics, I've not noticed any differences between light distances enough to take note of it. It's gonna happen to some extent regardless, Don't stress it mateYeah for sure i think im getting to much stretch between nodes got my light lower but seem to be able to run it at 250 watts because its getting close to 30 deg in my tent.
Think i read heat causes stretch too is that true?
Btw the only tops that are getting good node spacing are the side branches that didnt get topped just lst.
I don't know, I always just ran HPS all the way through when growing with them, I have since switched all my lights to gen 7 bridgelux cobs and meanwell drivers..... I have noticed lots of stretch with more sativa dominant and less with indicaAny truth to mh helping control stretch versus hps? Seems like I've read less stretch using mh during first part of flower?
Thanks mate.Stretching is a given and highly variable depending on genetics, I've not noticed any differences between light distances enough to take note of it. It's gonna happen to some extent regardless, Don't stress it mate
Yeah i check daily just for that reason they are getting taller everyday i def would have to raise the lights eventually.I'm running a too full scrog this time and taking suggestions! Most of my stretch filles in by harvest, so I've never stressed much till I over filled this screen.
The vigor during stretch always amazes me, OP don't let your tops get into your lights. Check them every day for the next two/three weeks. It'd be sad to torch her tops after such a nice veg!
Yeah i do notice the leaves are really dark green def have to buy some bloom nutes for sure this week. Thanks.Time to curb the nitro too ( plants are dark ) and has stored more than enough for transition time.
Used for vegWhat nutes are you running?
You mean the nutes or the rose spray for wpm?If it's organic, I'd think it'd be fine.
Yeah def will find one with less N for bloom.I don't know much on fertilizers but I'd find something with less nitrogen. If your spray is organic, I think a treatment would be fine.
Are you sure that's wpm, looks like dried nutes to me?
mh has a much bluer spectrum, which helps promote shorter, bushier growth. the redder light from hps does just the opposite, makes the plant react like it was outside in fall lighting, so it stretches more to catch more of the available lightAny truth to mh helping control stretch versus hps?
