Let's face it... Some of us were simply destined to have a relationship with cannabis. It was written in the stars.
I was nine years old and in 4th Grade the first time that I remember knowing what pot was. This does not imply that I was 'smoking' at that age but I knew what it was. I'd seen it growing all along the irrigation ditches in Kansas as a child and it was always a mainstay at many of the events that my Mother and I attended when I was little. I mean, I can't help that I am a NorCal native; I can't help that I grew my first pot plant in 6th Grade in a mason jar; I can't help that I grew-up in an area where I was getting real Thai, Colombian, Guatemalan, Afghan you name it off a guy that we called "Jelly George" who hung out out front of the 7 Eleven by my house.
By the time I was a senior in high school I'd seen, smelt, tasted and experienced quite a few of the very strains that folks are working hard to locate and revive as I write these very words.
What about you? Were YOU young when this plant changed your life?
