alight been almost exactly 24 hours since the last pic, I'm kinda glad I put the cup in the pic, I might have to get a ruler or yardstick to put in my pics. I kinda like the idea of having a scale to the pic!

so has anyone else here grown out the true gg#4? I'm trying to find some more info on it, but there is so many fakes, and crosses of it, I don't really trust a whole lot of the info I'm able to find!

I've had her for about a year and a half now. Vigorous, a bit tall. a fan fave, hungry.
Got it with a donation of cuts from a friend that introduced me to spider mites. Glad I fought them. GG4, Gorilla Cookies and Thunderbolt. In retrospect it was a learning moment and though i lost the 4th strain, the ones i saved are worth it.

yea I had a killer pheno of gorilla cookies from expert seeds and i lost it in a battle with spider mites!

no but I've used a lot of stuff, I've got azamax, regular need oil, mighty wash and DE! I haven't found any in a few weeks but I'm still staying on top of my ipm, I plan to work one more thing into my schedule just have a big list of stuff I need to get!

well I'm at another cross road, I can't decide if I want more holes in the floor(roof of the rez) which would allow more roots to reach into the rez, from what I've experienced it really improves the growth alot! but at the same time I don't too much soil falling into the rez!



also I had one of my older sips that was ready to go, so I took one a my small mothers of JP #3 and threw her in there and tied her down a lil, I'm probably just going to use her for clones, which is the reason she's tied down like she is! usually for plants that I'm flowering I like to let them get a lil taller before doing all the lst and stuff!

and unfortunately I'm out of em1, have some on the way but it takes time to expand so unfortunately I'm going to top watering the jp sip for the time being, and I'm going to put off setting up the other ones and just leave the girls in veg, they should be OK for about 3 weeks!


but my veg room is really getting full fast honestly don't have enough room for all the clones I just started! but hopefully all clones are successful and if so I'll flower the c&c to sex them and get them out of the way! they will be small for sure, but I can see what phenos I have, and start choosing a keeper!

OK if this beautiful lady keep growing at this rate I'll be able to start snagging clones in a few days!!!! time to start filling a up a new sip, she's gunna be a monstaaa! less than 24 hours since last pic and she looks like she might have gained a full 2 in. lol and don't expect a pic every day that may end but I'll do at least 2 a week for sure!

In veg, how can one tell if they have a real gg#4 cut? Aside from the infamous leaf twist. I've had gals show the twist that I know weren't gg#4.

I honestly don't know! just trust I guess, but I did msg Josey whales on instagram, he said can't really tell in veg but he said he would try his best to tell me once I flowered it! so that's good news, and the person I got it from doesn't have any reason to lie to me, unless he was lied to as well, so I really don't know!

but hey maybe Josey whales will confirm that it is his pheno! once I flower it and send him a bunch of pics, I should get an answer soon after!

I was actually curious about that as well, which was the whole reason I looked him up, if anyone can tell for sure you would think it would be him!

but she does have that lil twist thing ur talking about so that does give me high hopes! and I also had 6 bag seeds from a pound of gg#4, I wasn't going to grow them, but I figured if I popped them maybe I could atleast compare them to the cut, but as of right now they don't looking nothing like each other. but we will see I'll prolly end up killing them or giving them away but I figured it couldn't hurt to check them out!

I have some gg beans(bagseed) that were gifted to me. While I do take dudes word for it they are what he was told they were, I have never smoked nor ran GG. Being in a red state, you are lucky to get decent bud,let alone a strain that actually is the same as the name.
I'm running 2 of the beans now and was wondering if there were any visual veg clues to authenticity.
All the bud I see come thru my area is trich-less.

honestly the few ppl I have delt with on here, either trading or buying selling w.e., I have yet to meet anyone trying to screw someone else! which is pretty dam cool, but at the same time, dealing with ppl who you don't know on an anonymous forum can be scary for sure!
