Ironically Roger, I drive a 94 Aerostar van with the infamous EPA chipping paint of that year. I find it a coincidence that I was planning on chipping away what I can and was planning on sealing up the roof of my van with Thompson's WS today. It must be "National Intuitive Car Roof Repair Day".
that's possible....trump got elected, so much stranger things have happened....
i was just up on a hill the other day looking down at where i parked, and it was very noticeable. not so much when the roof is usually a few inches above my eye line

Anything you ever type into Google is kept. Also, if you use Google Chrome, anything you ever type in it is kept.

Algorithms do the rest.

Google bots also crawl the web and record that data as well, so if you ever told someone your truck was red, they know. If you ordered or even searched for parts for it, they know.

People live under the false illusion that they are anonymous online as long as they don't use their real name.

You're not.

The moment you get online they know the device you're on, where you are, everything.
My FireStick is apparently fucking my phone and telling it everything.

i use duck duck go on my phone, a terrible browser but claims to provide a similar illusion of security
If you Google what you just typed it will link you straight to that post, and they'll know the device that sent it, the connection it came from and who owns that connection and device.

i'm honestly not that concerned about it....i just wish they didn't try to hide the fact that they're doing all of this data collection. that makes it seem like they have some kind of use for it that they don't want us to be aware of....like they're trying to manipulate us, to almost subliminally influence us......
but NO...that's just my paranoia, right?

I switched to SIRI a couple months ago.
Ever since Jobs died, Apple has slowly been going to shit. I really hope the rumor Mac OS X is slowly getting phased out isn't true. Also when my MacBook finally dies, I hope they fix the problems with the 12", like the easily broken butterfly keys. Because I really love my 11.6" MacBook Air.

Nah there's no money left in MAc osx. Outdated, over priced and just as unreliable as windows. unflexible dock and general layout is lame. cant game on that platform. they don't even have a fucking right-click!

i'll take my piece of shit blank LPT with some linux distro over that garbage any day.

What's an LPT? The only acronym dealing with computers I know of is the obsolete line printer terminal parallel port.
