I've had the same thing happen before a couple times. It's only happened with feminized seeds. There might not be any correlation but it is one observation I've made. It was like a teenager developing acne and then growing out of it.

Hmmm it looks a lot like mine and I've got fems too. So you did not treat it with anything and just let it grow? Did you harvest as much as from others?

I just let it grow. But don't rule out anything. I was growing different strains so I can't compare it to the others but it still produced. I think I got close to two ounces off of it growing in a three gallon fabric pot of 100% coco. I'm growing in a tent and like variety so I flower multiple smaller plants.

But it did not spread to others at all?
 
man I was looking over the pics thinking in my head

maybe im crazy, maybe im just seeing mites everywhere..lol

and then I seen @Dr. Who say mites and I was like

ah fuck...im not crazy! lol

what did it for my was the way the leaf hooked hard at the tip

Do you mean that if I have russet mites they are mostly likely to be on every plant? I have 50 plants and only 5 of them are showing these symptoms. Could the rest have some kind of immune maybe? Larger girls that I moved to flower room are not showing any symptoms either...
BTW strange but the first plant that look the worst, is growing faster then others...

You got to look underneath the leaves, you might need a magnifying glass to see them look for webs, eggs, white specks & brownish black spots

Here are some new pics, did two foliar, tomorrow third. The first is the one that looked worst and it still does not look good + pale color :(
I have read that mites does not survive in temps over 100 F, what if I heat the room for like a couple hours, does it kill them?

How much X should be the magnifying glass to see those bastards? Been checking under leaves, no sings of anything...

Don't put your plants into 100 degree temps to kill mites. If you have them those plants can easily be treated with a variety of remedies. Neem oil is one. Spray them on top and bottom of the leaves until it's dripping off. Spray the top of the coco. Clean the grow area. Spray again in three days and then again three days after that. Each time cleaning the grow area thoroughly. I spray weekly in veg with every grow. Preventative measures work.

But are you sure you have mites? You should be able to see them if you do.

I agree w/ xtsho, unless you can see them I think it's just as likely it could be the medium and perhaps the pH is off too, I have the liquid drops too but it's not accurate, if you're thinking that's an accurate measurement it's not; could be a lot of other things if you're not seeing them ? If I were you I would check closely even a household type magnifying glass should do it

Nope :( dont see them at all, been searching for them stoned couple hours every day... None :(
 
Those plants are small enough to look them over real good. You should see mites if you have them. One thing to think about is over watering. You're in coco and people say to water until runoff daily. But when plants are small and haven't developed a large root structure you don't need to do that. The coco should be allowed to dry out some. Damp but not dry. You're in fabric pots. Once you see roots start poking out the sides is when you know the plants have a good root structure. From those pictures the coco looks pretty wet. Let it dry out. You can get root rot in coco if it stays too wet.

I would consider investing whatever you were going to spend on those predatory mites in a decent pH meter instead? I use and recommend only Apera meters. Good luck!

Edit: I'm going to get killed for saying this cuz it seems to be the new hippie myth, but in your case I got to suggest that due to your particular circumstances I would check my runoff pH

I just watered them before taking pictures, yes I do water till runoff every second day, I wait till the top inch is dry so there shoud be no problem with that.

I quit using PH pens cos they do not last for long... Been using many different ones, so tired to order a new one. Since than only using the liquid GHE test, could the liquid test go bad with time? Other plants look absolutely normal...

pH pen probes will last a long time if you store the instrument properly. Are you keeping the probe moist when you store it?
 
broad mites don't make webs and almost impossible to spot one and theyre tiny

most of the natural remedies wont work on broad mites..... theyre a motha fucker

either dump everything and start over after a good bleach or bite the bullet and use forbid 4f

if mites is indeed what you have...that's my guess but im only looking at a picture so ....
