its terrible isnt it? nearly all the jobs going require experience of which i have none or qualifications of which i also have none. when a job does eventually come up i phone up and its already been taken.

im pretty desperate for work i need money to start my first grow off, il do pretty much anything except cleaning does anyone else struggle to find work because of having no experience?

Getting a job now a days is hard, experienced or not.
You need to just keep throwing yourself out there, eventually someone will give you a shot. Then you will have experience. If you go to work everyday your an asset, it is hard to find reliable work.

Hey, its even worse over here in the UK, my brother is a qualified joiner/carpenter and also a qualified electrician, and also a painter and decorator (not qualified) and he can't find a job, all the companys say, they need someone qualified and experienced, its a joke!

All down to the credit crunch berboner, people are just putting off jobs, and keeping hold of there cash, i had an add in the yellow pages for painting and decorating, and i got more people ringing me trying to sell me more advertising than jobs, i think i got 3 jobs out of the whole years advertising. I remember about 5 years ago you could get a job the same day, but now its all agencys taking there cut out of your hard work, this country is a joke m8, good luck tho

We lost a lot of jobs where I'm from since last year, I been unemployed for about 3 months so far. And finding a job is hard, not to mention I'm on the house arrest bracelet so it's not like I can go look for one either lolol

you can look on the net, thats what i do

That just is NOT gonna get you a job!!! :dunce:

You have to meet and greet, go around all the shops and ask to speak to the manager, give them your CV and tell them you would like a job, and would be willing to work all hours EVEN overtime.

Try joining a bunch of job agencies too, they find the jobs FOR YOU!

That does not mean you can sit on your ass all day..

I got sacked today, at 10. I probably won't have a job for another few months.

The horrid thing is, i have nothing in the bank and Christmas is coming up.

I hate not being able to buy my family presents..

Anyway GET OFF YOUR LAZY ASS AND GO OUT INTO THE REAL WORLD :D

It'll help you more, believe me.

I'm right there with you ... I have had a couple jobs but they were all paid under the table so by request of my ex-employers.. I can't mention the fact that I worked there.

I gave up looking for a job about a month ago.. It's frustrating ... I've applied at at least 10-15 places since January.. I'm just lost in the job world, cuz I've never really had to look for a job before... The couple jobs I had were offered to me. Been bummin around and not even trying lately...

Right down the street from my house a new plaza is opening up. The sign for all the stores is already up and there is going to be a lot of places opening. I'm planning on getting apps from tons of stores there .. I'm bound to be hired by at least one..
