About to cut down plant! Give up

I have been doing this grow for a few month from seed 1st of September was when it first popped out of the soil. This was my first grow witg a skunk special strain which is a Mexican x Columbia Sativa hybrid and has been a total pain. Onto now, flowering is in 7th or 8th week and still no buds, fungle gnats i think and fan leaves are turning yellow and brown and slowly falling off from bottom to top. I am adding nitrogen in each watering done it twice and still no sign of fixing the plant. I assume it could be the fungle gnats eating the roots but then I used hydrogen peroxide and they’re still there even added a yellow sticker and only caught 2 of them. My grow was a nightmare this plant has been the hardest thing for me to grow and I am a experienced gardener but first time growing bud. Please if anyone has any ideas to save this sad old dying Sativa it would be nice. Thanks I am ready to chop it down and plant my Mk ultra auto flower. (I did this grow for a family member who is very very sick and in a lot of pain and he couldn’t afford his painkillers anymore so I told him I could grow some bud to help and thought I’d do my part and I feel horrible because I have let him down after 3 months.....

Strain: Skunk Special (Mexican x Columbia Sativa hybrid)

Light: 450w Viparspectra LED (200 true watts)
Light 2: 50w MH on the side for support
Soil: potting mix multi purpose organic base mix without any pre added fertiliser

Have you been giving them any feed? They look deficient in pretty much everything. Also temps are too low.

Been feeding with nitrogen (tomato fertiliser) and before that I was using flowering fertiliser during the first 4 weeks of flowering until I realised that it was low of nitrogen.... I might add some nitrogen pellet solid fertiliser to the soil and water with bloom so I can do both maybe but yeah I think it’s over sadly I’m not sure if it will keep on going anymore ;(

Read that before and watched over 100 videos easily and read a lot as well but sadly still the only way of really learning is just making the mistakes this first time and improving the second time but surly and hopefully I can get some sort of yield out of this plant....

What is the beginning NPK of your soil? How long has it been in that soil? What are you feeding this plant currently? Be specific in the details.

When I was about to finish veg I noticed my plant was suffering a bit of nitrogen toxicity because I dumped too much nitrogen into the soil I had before (I was using an amazing fluffy potting mix which had many added macronutrients and micronutrient but had slow release nitrogen) so I transplanted into a potting mix I found which has no added npk it’s add your own type fertiliser so I just keep adding liquid Potassium fertiliser for the flowering stage and was worried about nitrogen so I left off that so that could explain the deficiencie of nitrogen.

So yes the soil is just a bland potting mix with nothing added to it, water just goes straight through it to my drip tray and that’s it. It’s been in this soil for 6-7 weeks. The same time I have been flowering because that’s when I did the final transplant. I did a few waterings these days one with just hydrogen peroxide to try and kill fungus gnats but seems they’re still flying, and two waterings with seaweed extract, Tomato feed liquid fertiliser and magnesium sulfate.

Seaweed extract: I’m not sure seasol powerfeed it’s called

Haven’t really kept notes but for the past two watering one was done yesterday it was with 7l water (6.5ph) with 30ml of tomato feed. Only used like a few leters of water, can’t use the entire watering can otherwise my run off would be crazy and I’ll overwater.

I’d say 2 days before that i did 9l water 6.5ph with 20ml of tomato feed.

Everything before that for the past month has been 20ml of bloom fertiliser in 9l water usually every second or third day which was when the soil seemed most dry.

Ok so you had them on a diet of no N and high K during most of their vegetative lives...and now you're on a diet of high N and very low K. You're going to confuse the plant. You should have been using the higher N in Veg and then move to the higher K in flower...not the opposite. I'm not familiar with your nutrients but I would sit down and mathematically adjust your feed so your feeding a little N, but mostly P and K. That's about the best I can do for you in terms of advice. Sometimes we just have to learn from our mistakes and move forward.

It looks to me that your genetics in that plant were at fault, not necessarily your growing techniques.
Next grow get some Fox Farms Ocean Forest (Amazon), and fuck that other soil.
Your plant is basically a true Sativa, which without training and a lot of time for bloom, is a tough plant to grow in the 1st place indoors, so for a next selection I would go with around a 50/50 Sativa/Indica variety (Northern Lights is a very cool Sat/Indica mix, and is easy to grow indoors with a 9 week finish)
I have a plant now that is Sativa dominant mix, and it sucks (looks like yours ), but it was all due to genetics because the surrounding plants are doing just fine ( same food/lights/temps), so sometimes you just end up with a dog, no matter what you do.
I'm sorry for your issues, but sometimes in gardening you will get fucked by genetics, so don't think it was all your fault

Fuck the Tomato food for growing pot, it won't work.
Next grow get a decent veg/bloom mix (I use Technaflora Grow/Boost/Bloom) and leave that other shit on a shelf.
One more thing, only feed your plant lightly on the 3rd watering in soil, or you will overfeed because your soil will hold all those un-used nutes from you previous watering.
Pot in soil can't take high dosages of nutes because of buildup. In hydro you can crank up the nutes because you can flush and adjust, but soil holds all the nutes from your 1st watering to it's last, it never goes away. Point being that the 1st time you water with 700 PPM, at 8 weeks your soil is going be around 4000 due to build up of salts and nutes.
Like a few things, less food is better than too much for growing pot in soil.

I don't think this is a nute or ph problem. I bet during veg you had a few fungus gnats. When you flipped to flower my guess is your fungus gnat population exploded and now your plant is in competition with the gnats for benificials and losing.
You have two options. First is to try and eradicate the gnats and attempt to finish the plant with reduced yield and potency. The second is to toss that plant, clean up your grow area, and start over fresh and prevent the gnats from coming back. BT dunks and diatomaceous earth are your friend.

Am I able to mix both of the nutrients together and water at the same time? Also I think there is a misunderstanding, during veg I didn’t feed any N because 1 I didn’t have the tomato feed then and they were feeding off the nitrogen in the soil which I think was high because the plant did suffer some nitrogen over feeding signs. Sadly I’m in a country where I can’t use Anazon and I can’t get foxfarm soil sadly so that is a bit of a problem.

I bought the seeds of tor and was told it was skunk special and it’s apparently “Sativa indica but mostly Sativa dominate hybrid”

I have a Mk ultra autoflower seed which I want to use next grow because I feel auto may be much easier for me to grow and get a result Quickly instead of waiting so long during flower.

I’m worried because all the photos I see of people flowering, they say it’s week 5 of flowering and have nice bugs while my plant is week 8 or something of flowering and still not a single little bud is seen... it kills the motivation sadly.

Yeah I hahe had them since I think mid to late veg and didn’t think much of them I thought they just fly around don’t do much but then I identified what they were and realised they eat the root hairs and that made me think it was the cause of my slowly dying plant. I honestly don’t know if next grow the fungus gnats will come back or not like this grow admittedly I did water a lot during veg and did overwater so I think that was the reason I got them I the first place but hope to not get them again next grow because I can’t seem to get rid of them. I do want rock toss the plant because it’s sativa and just takes forever to flower and seems to just be wasting my time when I could have another plant in there growing now which would finish flower before this plant even grows a nug. How long from the photos does it look like the plant has till it actually grows a bud? It seems nothing happens

Yes, they will come back, you can pretty much count on it.
I had a clean grow room until I picked up a bag of soil from a local garden center, which was infested with the little bastards.
15+ years later, and after going hydro, I still have the motherfuckers.
The good news is that after all these years I understand how to live with them.
It really is hype that they will destroy your root system, because they can't, there are too many new roots developing in such a short period of time, they don't have the capability to do any real damage.
Where they will fuck you is with a very young plant, one that is around 2 weeks old in moist soil. The larvae will hang out where the stem leaves the soil and eat at the soft tissue there, and basically cut you plant in half.
I've lost more than one plant that looked great at 3 weeks, only too wake up one day and the fuckers 1/2 dead because when it was a young plant it had been attacked at it's base, just under the soil, and damaged.
Once the stem is around a 1/4" in diameter, the gnat's can't hurt the plant, then they are just annoying.
So, I place yellow stickey traps around my seedlings, make sure I have a fan blowing thru the plants and make sure you don't overwater (gnats love wet soil)
There just a part of life if you grow in soil, but basically if you take a few simple precautions, their harmless.
Oh, and as far as you plant producing bud, most Sativas are 10 weeks minimum, and 12 is more like it.
It's a very long grow with a dominant Sativa strain, so be patient.
