Would that make sense? Half of the light would just hit the walls...?!
Its for sure ~1ft from the walls and a ~2ft gap between each board. Over lapping starts at ~12" and good uniformity you'll get from ~18" and above. And between each row of two boards there is a gap of ~1ft. Goal is always to get even distribution(80% uniformity) with the lowest possible distance.

If that’s for 4x4 or larger, i’d use 2 of those for the 4 96’s, take a look at the mapping...

I would use the HLG-480H-54A or B version it offers much more flexibility.
With parallel wiring you can add more boards easily to make your light more efficient. With series wiring you are forced to use 4 boards and to increase efficiency you would need at least another 4 boards for a 2nd parallel string.
Parallel is also more fail safe. If one board fails the remainig 3 would still work; with a series circuit the whole light would go off.
And last but not least, you get more watts from a CV / CC driver.

Ok, so now that RB mentions you have to use 4 lights with the other driver, based on a 4 bd config in at least a 4x4 i would get 2 of these 480-54s to get good coverage at 1000 ppfd, cuz you will need 200-240w per light w 4 lights.
Look at the mapping table for 4 lights.

Will be keeping an eye on colortemp as i get to point of increasing wattage, seems to be difference in color temp as power is added...not dramatic swing, more like closer to 3500K at low wattage, closer to 3000K at higher wattage....if so, another great feature for veg/flower settings....
I also like the ranges of intensity as move closer to 18”...let plants grow into light, to minimize dimming and height changes...
Also thinking color temp can be taken to 4000+K pretty easy by adding some supplemental blue, so i plan to test that.
Next up tho, logistics allowing, uva-b acclimation and ramp...hoping to do some separate testing next week, then put in tent the following week....
Hopefully supplemental blues will be up soon thereafter.

You made me lookup info and I found some news on samsungs new horticulture LEDs. Limited info but looks like Samsung will be releasing them soon. Summary from article below (important stuff only)...
