They do smoke tobacco which 100% isn’t flushed. There are also a number of herbs that can be smoked that wouldn’t get flushed. Doesn’t matter how it’s ingested the plant still stores chemicals the same way.

Who gives a fuck. I don’t care about all the fkn scitentist in the world. My shit taste better so I flush plus if I don’t no cunt buys it.

Yeah and people have had medical conditions cured from a sugar pill does t mean the sugar did anything.

Placebo harshness? Placebo black ash? There's no clear evidence either direction yet. You will see a lot more r & d done now it's full legal in canade tho I would assume.

Possibly, but i see some commercial growers I follow in the states that flush so surely there's some merit to it.

Yeah being able to save 1-2 weeks of nutrient that could cost hundreds of dollars. That adds up if you do it every run.

That's not why they do it tho lol. One guy I see is in rdwc so uses minimal nutes as it is.

I'm outdoor so this is outdoor theory for me ..

I "starve " my plants the last 10-14 days
Absolute minimal water and no ferts added etc etc
I know it's not really buying into the flushing debate but I know indoor mates who do and some who dont

Harshness and the ash colour are more from the drying process than flushing. The black ash is caused from the sugars not breaking down during the curing process. I haven’t flushed in years and am still able to get white ash and no harshness.

All the studies that have been done already (I’ve read 3) showed no significant weight or canabonoid decrease/increase from flushing, also no significant difference in drying or curing times . That link coco put up has a link to the actual study.

From my admittedly short experience I disagree man, I think it makes a big difference to the final product.

Everyone has their own theories, I only water twice in the first 4 days of the final week then nothing for the last 3 days

I also don’t water the last 3ish days. Coco will be bone dry when I cut. But as you said everyone has their own theories.
