Fragile's First Flowers!!

Just got excited after my nightly checkup. Things are coming along nicely in my first grow and wanted to share a few pics of my first buds with you all!

For anyone that hasn't seen my setup yet.
Rdwc. Mega Crop + hydroguard + 66F
China led panels with 3500k Samsung diodes + 660nm red led

Im really happy with how well things have gone since I got those light leaks sorted.
From 7 bag seeds I ended up with 2 males and 1 herm.

I learned a ton about how they grow and need to make major adjustments in trimming and training during my veg period next time. I didnt trim near enough off or tie enough things down and they got a bit out of hand. Today makes 4 weeks through flower so im hoping the arent going to stretch up too much more, starting to run out of room!
Already got materials to build myself some screens and im going to scrog them next time around and keep the veg period a bit shorter.

I see your leaf stems are purple, mine are too. I wonder if that's something with mega or is that what a healthy plant actually looks like?! They look to be building some nice frost. Hope mine look like that in a 1.5 weeks!
I'm liking the scrog. It's a little more work but totally controllable.

On my plants id say its more of a brown than purple and they only seem to get that color when the leaves are mature. They come in green and get darker the longer they grow. The ones that have brown stems are generally bigger than my hand. I was slightly concerned about it at first but theyve been going like crazy so I havent thought too much of it. I have 5 possibly 6 different strains in here and im pretty sure theyre all doing it to some extent.

Yep, my three strains are all showing it. You've described what I've seen in grow, I bet mine are a brownish color, if I looked better. Yeah this is my first time with mega but the biggest leaves ever! Hoping for a decent finish!

i was reading a post by GreenGene's yesterday... It seems that the purple stem issue is a slight phosphorous deficiency when under LED's due to the high PPFD numbers, that's all

Man I have no idea what this strain is other than it's some kind of grape something, but it smells absolutely amazing!!! It smells like sweet fruit is the best way I can describe it. Glad I took 1/3 of my clones from this plant. They were some bag seeds I had, I have 3 of them that I believe are the same but this on is the biggest.

Hell if they get that far ill probably just let em finish its all for personal use so im ok with a few seeds. I remember the bud it came from. We found I think 6 seeds across around a QP.. if its that low ill be fine with it, that stuff was fire. If they get out of control ill chop em.

Don't build a screen. Learn from others tribulations. Just use a pre made netting trellis and attach it to the poles inside your tent. It's easier.

Its just some of that rectangular holed plastic coated fencing im going to staple to some 1x2s and do just that. They sell it in 2ft tall rolls too.

There's 5X15' & 5X30' sizes. This one has perfect 6" holes too. It's too cheap to not just use this proper stuff.

Its metal fencing thats coated in plastic, ive seen quite a few people use it and be happy with it. If the holes arent big enough I can easily cut pieces out and make them bigger.
