Yup
Tho he has given me a good information in the past. But when it comes to any posts here about lights it will always turn into a battle.
its 130 true wats the light is cheap i get that but in all honestly its better to save the extra $60 ish and buy a better light
130w lights can grow decent plants i just wouldn't have high hopes for that one plus fuck having your grow room so pink
135w quantum board would kill that pink light plus for ever two pink lights one 135w quantum board could replace them saving allot on power consumption that = long turn savings making the light even cheaper

only dumb people would opt for them pink lights when in the long run they cost more to run then a decent light

You know I will my dude ! :weed:
Stay up and don't listen to the common heard trying to put us down. These old heads get stuck in the past.
You are so clueless. I use top bin LED. Old head? I'm using tech that is a better, more efficient version of what you are you using. By all means, keep fanboying over your purchase because you two geniuses know more than the collective knowledge of everyone else. I'm off to talk with people who aren't entirely up their own ass.

P.s. my light cost less than 200 bucks so fuck off with the idea that I'm trying to tell people to spend thousands.

And here you are swearing at people like a ignorant prick we are not claiming to know everything about lighting we are simply stating the fact that low watt grows are more then possible to happen. I love the pink color and hey so do my plants !

I always enjoy folks 'arguing' about whether their led fixture will grow some dank.
I'm not going to get into that. Just trying to use some basic physical principles.
Plants need energy from an external source to have photosynthesis. The unit to measure how much energy from a light source is a photon. The challenge comparing fixtures is knowing how many photons it's capable of producing, Less efficient technology like the leds in most 'blurple' fixtures DON'T produce as many photons of usable light for each watt of electricity used. This is where using current technology diodes like those used in Quantum Boards gives them a big advantage. Like 90 lumens/watt compared to 175 lumens/ watt- almost double the amount of light for the same amount of power. That's a huge difference.
I don't doubt that some folks can grow some decent weed with those small panels. It's just a simple fact that using better light sources can help you see what your leaving on the table.

I think nasa knows a little more about led grow lights than folks here and most led makers follow their guidelines which is why most commercially made leds are multiband.if the data from the manufacturers is correct the efficiency of some of those cheap lights is around 35% which is not bad https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07843C284/?coliid=I3BXITXX9012ZE&colid=AW7UKM9ED6GM&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it 45.33176 watts of radiant power for 128.7 watts of input power equals 35% efficiency lumens and are radiant power adjusted for spectrum. and not the spectrum plant prefer. how much energy do white leds produce at chlorophyll absorption peaks compared to multiband leds I have grown 4 plants in a 2ft by 2ft closet with a 154 watt (measured)T5 light so it is possible to grow good weed with low powered lights adding a little UVA to an led grow light will improve taste and potency

If you read the whole post I am using 2x 15w at 1500 lumens each = 30w = 3000 lumens and a 45 w led panel that is 4500 lumens so a total of 7500 lumens at 75 watts
if you buy again i highly recommend looking into one one these, they will out grow that LED unit and no fan/heat issue either/less power usage and outlast by that by many years...got a few bigger models and they are killer vers anything else I have tried
https://www.amazon.com/Quantum-Board-Grow-Bloom-4000K/dp/B07FB61CH3
not preaching, it is just a fact I learned the hard way.

I am very interested in switching to these. I have looked multiple times. My concern is that able to run off your typical house wall outlet ? 120V/15ah And if so can we do better / bigger boards.

To answer your question-yes, I've used MG on outdoor grows. Actually seemed to work quite well, the plants looked happy. Not going to get into a pissing match over Monsanto(ooooohhhh) and big pharma. I just grow weed
