I used cheap trellis netting and just zip-tied it to my tent poles, it worked fine. It was 4 bucks at home depot. I just cut it when I chopped.
I was thinking about using that plastic coated metal fence for better support. I might. It would be a pain to get the plant out of it when the time came though, not being able to cut it.

That's the point I'm trying to get across to @fragileassassin . It's super cheap to just order the netting and strap to your poles, because come harvest, there's plenty of times you just need to cut the fuckers out and metal would make it a serious PITA.

2'x50' roll already bought and sitting down there I just have to figure out exactly how I want to execute it next grow. Its already too late for this grow, everything is so overgrown im just going to have to do my best to tie them up or together or something. The big issue with strapping to my poles is as soon as I do that, I can no longer go inside my tent and then cant get to the plants in the back half. Its just the 8 outside poles and 1 support one in the middle of a 10'x10' tent. I tried hanging some of those a rope net things when I first set it up and realized it wasnt going to work for me.
My thought was to just snip out every other wire making 3x4 holes. I could possibly make a small 2x3 one for each plant or just one 2x9 one for each row. Either way theyll be light enough to hang from my light frames. I may have to still cut them down to like 1.5ft tall to save my walking space between rows.
I learned a lot about how the plants grow this time around. That was a major goal to be better prepared for my 2nd.
What I want to do is train each row to grow into a solid hedge like canopy so I can still walk between the rows but keep them much smaller than what I ended up this time. Im not trying to grow massive weight, just want be able to get a few different strains going at the same time.

I really need to get to the back of the tent some time in the next few days and check for adventuring roots in the back sites, Ill try to snap some pictures of my skywalker OG and Bruce Banner buds while im back there. Those we bought fem seeds. Everythings been going well so ive been staying out of there since it got a bit overgrown. The whole tent is pretty much a solid canopy at this point. I did trim the bottoms enough that I can crawl under them but its a pain so I havent done it yet.

Thought about adding some uprights and squaring the spaces for each plant into its own net? You can get some emt from home depot and use that.

This could be a possibility, but im still not sure it would be possible in my setup.

I guess it would help if you guys could visualize it. Its changed a bit, but nothings moved. Just ditched all the blue stuff.
The training goal would be to keep all the plants mostly contained within each row. This view is my only accessible door so I need to be able to at least make it to the back without harming the plants.

That was my opinion, too. However, looking at that massive tent, putting multiple nets like that up would make it hard to get around in there. They make those truck bed cover nets, but still, you'd never be able to get in there for maintenance.
A simple 1/2" pvc frame with 2 runs lengthwise over each row and put something like this between them. That way you can still walk down the isles kind of.
I guess that's what he's thinking with the wood frame and fencing.

And thats pretty much exactly what I was talking about with my frames.

First of all, your girls look amazing, definitly date worthy!

But how do you care for the inner part of your totes or growing containers when using a single pvc frammed scrog? I want to grow in a scrog not just a net but am concerned if something goes wrong and I need to get to the totes.

Anyone ever see any plans for making individual scrog nets over and connected to the top of each tote?

I saw someone use a tomato cage over a five gallon bucket. They drilled 4 holes and stuck the wires in down to the first loop and then bend the wires 90 degrees under the lid to hold it there. I would think you could do the same thing on tote lids.

I could always do something like this too.
The tote setup will become a flower tent after this crop. Most of the training I'll need the screen for will happen in the veg tent. I just need something to keep them in their general area in the big tent. That's why I was thinking that just doing 4 long ones and putting one down each row will probably be ok

Finally got the screens on a couple days ago. I had to increase to 24" height instead of 16" since they grew so much while I was trying to correct a Mg deficiency

It's a good screen design for individual dwc totes. Anything with a lid really to mount it to. I'm sure it could mount to a pot as well if the lip was wide enough.

I cant really see much of a difference in them, would these be considered cloudy trichomes? I know I want to wait until most amber for the narcotic/couch lock effect I like.
