There are plenty of reviews about the different systems/methods of cloning on this beautiful forum. If you start searching today you will have plenty of reviews, opinions, facts.
And you will be even more confused then you already are now.
There is no 'the best system'.
They all work as long as you don't fuck it up yourself.
Ask yourselves questions like 'how much do I want to spend?'
What if the pump (or something else) breaks down? How much does it cost to replace it? How long does it take before I can get a new part? Do I have to order it online and wait for 3 days, or can I go to Home Depot and buy my stuff?
Where will I place the cloner? I a cold room or a room that is already warm?
What if the system has a leak? Will that cause a huge problem? (if so, choose a system where all the pipes and whatever are inside a container)
Do I mind a little noise of does it have to be absolutely silent?
Do I want to add nuts in the water at a certain point? Nuts can clog up misters earlier. Nuts can not be used in a cloner with foggers.
There are plenty of videos and reports where you can see how people build their own cloners.
Cheap and easy to build, even without expensive tools.
Home Depot, Aliexpress and Amazon will supply you with everything you need for a fraction of the price you will pay for a plug & play set.
Except when you look a cloner for more then 100 clones, then I think a ready made is cheaper to buy.

Thanks for reply,i have been searching and watching utube vids but each and every1 say there the best,i just want to do a couple of clones every now and again for myself but quickly as iv heard roots within a few days.Also looked into building 1 but thought if it costs an extra tenner to buy 1 built and it works id rather do that,than me building 1 and finding out the pump or fogger isnt strong enough or something,but thanks anyway.

Go to Home Depot, buy a container or a larger bucket, make some holes in the lid.
buy some netpots and some neoprene pucks or hydroton

Buy a small aquariumpump (20/25 watts is enough), put a sprinkler on top.
Also available at ordinary shops or at Aliexpress.
Buy a cheap ass timer. Modify it (so it will go from 15 minutes interval to 45 seconds)

It’s the one that I have. Other ones like it will work too. Best thing that I bought for cloning. But I never had roots before at least 10 days on anything I have used I also use rapid start and ph the water

I doubt it will work.
Most of those timers only have a limited amount of on/off cycles per day.
If you open the link, you will read as well: Up to 8 on/off cycles per day
Perhaps I do not understand it well, so please fill me in when I am wrong

I own one and it works, using it for irrigation timer.
That is true 8 cycles per day, but you can set the times in each cycle to seconds.
I run 4 cycles at present 9:05 to 9:06:30, 12:30 to 12:01, 4:00 to 4:01, 7:05 to 7:06:30. Total of 5 minutes during lights on.
About to go to 7 cycles with the start the same but add three more in between cycles, and all will be at 45 seconds each an d the end @ 2 plus minutes

Have not sit down and work out the times yet, but it would be something like, 1st @1.5 minutes, 2nd thru 5th @ 45 seconds and the last cycle I will increase to 2.25 minutes. I run drain to waste, so the first cycle @ 1.5 mins is to wet the profile after lights come on with runoff, then the next 5 cycles will run at 45 seconds no or minor runoff, and the last will run @ 2 minutes to 2.25 minutes, this will give me the runoff I want to rid the coco of tied up/built up nutes. Total of 7.5 minutes during lights on. This my be too much time/runoff so will adjust as needed.

I use this for my low pressure and high pressure and is as easy as set it and forget it! The only negative is you can't go lower than 5 seconds of spray time but I find it perfect.

I do understand how such a timer works.
Have many of them.
But in my opinion they are useless for aero-cloners.
In the cloners that topic starter Joe9000 is searching for, you need the stems of your clones sprayed 24/7, or all day and night with short intervals of not more then 20 minutes. Otherwise the stems will dry out.
With the timer you mention this is not possible.
You can use the timer for the set up that you mentioned. With coco, hydroton, or another medium. They are great for that.

I see what you mean. I no knowing about cloner's, I thought he need very short intervals.
What he needs then is a manual timer that you push down the little pegs, that way he can set them every 15 mins or so.
I too want to build me a cloner, and have looks at the EZ Clone fogging nozzles and make my own manifold.

Im looking to buy or make a cloner as well. I seen DIY simple threads to the ezcloner bigger builds. Heres a pic of the build of the ezcloner (the pic is not mine)
I heard in one thread that the pump at 15 min on 15 min off is your best bet. I use a Agromax digital short cycle timer for my drip irrigation and its the tits. It can go on for one second (despite the labeling says 10 sec min) and a max of 99 hours. It has a photo cell so theres three modes, always on, always off, or timer mode. You can also set it to day mode (starts the timer or no timer mode when lights kick on) night mode (works only at night pretty much useless for our situation unless you hook it up to like a circulation pump to kick on at night or some shit) and day and night mode works when lights on and off.

I hate to link to an outside site but this is the build I followed. The differences are I used a 13g hdx tote instead of a 5 gallon bucket and used different measurements and design for the sprayer.
I was very happy!

And those you can modify yourself.
The one you use is great, but I never saw one on 230 volt. Only 110.
The ones with pegs you can modify yourself and then instead of 15 minutes per peg, it will have about 45 seconds per peg.
A downside of some of the more fancy ones (not with all models) is that if the electricity goes off and it is switched on again, that they will not continue their settings.
The ones with the pegs are very mechanical, and they will just continue.
There are hundreds of plans of building your own cloner. On this site, on YouTube, everywhere. And you can make it as fancy as you want.
Als long as you have a Home Depot or a gardencenter where they also sell stuf for ponds and aquariums, you're fine.
It is so easy to build.
