I would bin a fan but the lights I have(all viparspectra) are worth $1300 brand new. It is kind of stupid just to throw them away especially considering they have been used 1-2 grows only.

I would keep using them but they add a lot of heat plus I do not think they are actually totally good for flowering. They produced 2-3 ozs per plant but even though buds are ok they have barely produced any frost on buds. I left four plants after harvesting in pots because there were a lot of popcorn buds on them and moved them outdoor. Just in three days they started to grow and they are super frosty.

I know a lot of friends who smoke but none of them want to(or can) grow. I do not think I can modify them in something better. Plus I can get QBs with 600W(actually 6 of 288 QBS) with ready to assemble kit for less than $600 USD landed in Australia.

May be there is a shop in Australia that can buy used LEDs for reselling them. If there is none that actually would be a great idea to start one

Has anybody tried to sell unwanted grow lights? How have you done it?

I guess it would be silly to put it on eBay even if you do not grow anything currently but going to in some near feature. The same goes for gumtree.

If I can somehow I would get rid of all my LEDs and use it to fund purchasing QBs.

I've seen quite a bit on gumtree but normally hps lights n ballasts etc ..I cant remember ever seeing QBs or LEDs second hand or even new on there and thats aust wide

I would try to sell them to a friend, I’m about to sell a 600 mars led with a tent for 300, that are basically brand new and the tent is still in the box, my good mate is keen.

Hahaha yeah I know, it’s worth brand new 240 the tent worth 110 I’d take 250 lol it’s brand new in the box, one of my mate was gonna grow and then he gave it to me for an oz lol
