Maybe not their butts but our butts have to be on time.
This whole thing reminds me of FOID cards. Felony to possess guns without one. Law says the cards have a certain number of days to be approved. Yet the State Police has no problem not following the law and creating felons sending out renewals late.

I'm sorry officer, I know I was supposed to put that sticker on my plate yesterday but I'll get to it in 70-100 days. I'm sure you understand, this is Illinois.
I was really amazed when they made the law where we wouldn't get fined if the state didn't start sending out registration letters again. I think that was the only time they moved fast.

Give them a call today , be kind , polite , and ask " just exactly what day are you on , so I can have an idea of what century I will get my card "

Did I see hear that some sept. folks have received their card? My application was submitted 9/7 and cc charged 9/10, called 11/26 and was told sec of state had to verify my address but nothing else. Still waiting and according to informed mail nothing today. Hate to get to excited because of how Illinois government works or should I say doesn't work.

You should be real soon, it probably took a bit for them to verify your address, but IllinoisSucks got his, and I think he was September 2ish

Give them a call at 9 a.m. , maybe ask what day they are currently on
Medical Cannabis Program representatives are available by phone at 1-855-636-3688 Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

I applied online 9/6, card charged the same day. I received my card this past Tuesday 11/27. So a total of 83 days. I really think you’ll see it soon. I really hope you do.

That’s a good idea! I’ll call this afternoon, give them a chance to get through more apps! They have gotta be to me by now, if IllinoisSucks got his, and he applied 9/6, they should be to 9/20 by now! I’m at 71 days today, so it should be today! Ha

My luck, it won’t be tho! Fingers crossed!
