Flowering nutes

I currently have some Alaskas Natural bloom, and so far I've only mixed it with water and phed it and it dropped the ph from almost 8 down to about 4.5.
Is that normal for flowering nutrients? Is this stuff acceptable to use? I dont really the money for anything else. I can adjust the ph to where I need it, but then it would require quite a bit of ph up, probably almost 4ml per gal. And then I also dont know if that would be considered bad either? Ppm way off, to much of whatever ph up consists of (if it's bad in large quantities).
Maybe I should be alkaline water to try to counter the ph drop for the nutes and make adjusting more reasonable?

Don't drop the pH to 4.5. Use less of what your using to drop the pH.

I only used about half dose of what's recommended and it dropped the ph to 4.5 with plain tap water. Not even adjusted yet

I have to use ph up also. After nutes my ph is is 5.6 sometimes. Is what it is, you have to ph to get in good range. Better off using ph up to get a stable ph than trying to water your plants with a ph in the 4s because your plants aren't going to be able to absorb any nutes in the 4 range. So they won't be eating.

Well I planned to us ph up. I'm just wondering if it's bad to use in such large amounts at once because it's going to take quite a bit to get to 6.5. Probably close to 4ml

I don't think its going to hurt. You can get a more natural ph up also, like mad farmer get up or earth juice has one. I use the mad farmer. Im in soil by the way.
