Pressing flower is a pain in the ass factor in extra labor and having to buy at least 4x as many bags and it's an easy choice. If you have a press that's 20 tons or more it's more feasible to do flower because you can use bigger bags my experience is with a 10 ton press. spending $2 in bags and 10 min in labor to get like a gram of rosin just isn't worth it to me when I can use the same bag an same amount of time to press 4x that from bubble. I probably yield less than with flower but it's worth it to me.

is the rosin something you could vaporize? or strictly dab rigs?
I have a 10 ton press we made with 5" sq plates, we use 4.5" 90u bags and put 1oz in each, temp is set to 205. You fold the corners of the bag in, stand up and fill, then fold the top closed,this way when it comes out of the press its round and doesnt have corners for rosin to get stuck in. We usually yeild abou 5g per press but it has been up to 8g (the good shit) and down to 2g (not so good). The bags cost $1 ea, takes about 5 min to load and press each one.

You can vape in one of those pens designed for wax it doesn't really work in cartriges. Dry ice has given worse quality in my limited experience with it the only benefit is speed it's faster to do dry ice but dry ice is also expensive thats why I stick to bubble it's cheaper to freeze water than buy dry ice haha. Bubble hash washing machines are cheap and easy just fill turn on and watch TV for 30 min then run it through the bubble bags

Lukio actually turned me on to the Frenchy Cannoli hash videos. I learned alot of steps that I could have done better for sure. I gonna use snow for my next run: he said it's less abrasive than ice and i got about a foot on the ground already here.
You fit an oz of flower in bags for a 3x5 plate?! Shit man what kinda bags are you using I get blowouts with anything over 1/4 oz of flower. Hows the consistency of the rosin? When I go that hot is gives me that annoying sappy consistency
Nice I'll check that out! On a side note it's always good to get as much dry sift from the buds as possible before turning to bubble dry sift presses real nice

They are 5 x 5 plates, I would say it is sappy but hardens when it cools, its never brittle unless you freeze it. What temp are you using? we started at 195 but since have been at 205. Bags are from az press.

i use that for my QWET extractions. it does work pretty good. might get a flavored one next time
I don't go over 190 I really don't like to have to freeze my material to be able to handle it oh IDK why I thought you meant 3x5 I'll check out those bags the couple brands I've tried blow out alot I tried doing it the way you do it and had even worse blowouts so I got frustrated and went to the bubble haha I'll try out some flower again after this next run finishes. I do some small batch flower for myself sometimes with no screens at like 160 degrees it come out like some wax and the smell is amazing
I should try that I didn't want to add a ton of junk to the rosin because to me it kinda defeats the purpose of making soleventless. I tried adding 10% terpenes instead of that stuff it didn't help at all haha

i ran 14.5grams of green crack and ended up 2.8g of some real stinky wax...sounds about right i think? its bloody lovely!
@Stone_Free thats rosin mate, with the straighteners. yeah fan of ol howard, met him glasto, he used to do talks. legend. its his SSH in the crosses im growing

Yeah that's what I meant to say...had a bit of a brain fade lol. I'm thinking of trying it, along with bubble hash, but it depends how much flower I have after the harvest in 5-6 weeks. Def doing the bubble hash though, no point wasting all those trichomes

ive had back luck with my 2 experiences with BHO. don't know if it wasn't purged correctly but it had a nasty taste and gave a horrible headache too.
the only extractions we are alllowed (non licensed) to do here in CO legally are QWET, QWISO and CO2. anything with stronger solvents butane, hexane etc are a no-no. too many f'ing idiots blew up their houses, sheds, garages etc and ruined it for the rest of us

Made a little QWISO hash for the first time after my last harvest. Twas a right pain in the ass. Made me start looking at entry-level rosin presses. Not a big fan of concentrates, personally, but I want to do something with all the trim. Maybe I'lI just let the wife cook it all. Last time she just dumped the trim in a pot on the stove, with some coconut oil, and let it simmer for a few hours; I was surprised by how strong it was.

have you done QWET? i've done a few batches and it has turned out pretty good. and Everclear is pretty cheap at my local liquor store. then i use wax liquidizer and put it in vape pens.

Yeah it is crazy the risks people take. Not only can they seriously injure themselves, they can also harm others. I live in a small apartment block and apart from not wanting to harm myself, it would be shitty if the guy above or next door was affected by my stupidity. There is only so much damage to be done with cold water, ice and a couple of buckets
And the results will likely be much the same, the high will be just as good without the blown out windows etc.
