Like I say they’ll fail. Governments bigger and more powerful than ours (who’s populations are much more valuable in $ terms as far as market share goes anyway) have tried for a long time - and failed - to get exploits built in for surveillance reasons.

There is a point where making these things accessible to prying eyes becomes harmful to the government of the day as they also rely on the very same encryption to conduct their business.

Anyway, custom ROMs and jailbreaking etc. makes it far harder for them to standardise approach. Might happen one day but it won’t actually be feasible for some time yet. Crims and terrorists are pretty good at adapting after all

Only ordered on the 6th, tropicanna cookies is going to be a staple in future runs, one of the flowers that are standing out to me on insta, I wanna get some real deal mac and zkittlez too but I will hunt them next year, I think cap has a January drop might have to get on it.

I hope you're right but the fact that these types of laws are even making to a vote in parliament is a joke and the fact that the majority of Australians don't give a fuck about having what's left of their freedom taken away from them is beyond a joke.

First and only time I tried that they stayed at the bottom but 2-3 days later still nothing. I changed to paper and finally a week later I got 4 mushy beans and 1 I helped that is now questionable whether it's a mully

Yeah the thinking of “if you’ve got nothing to hide you’ve got nothing to fear” is what shits me the most. Can’t trust lawmakers not to widen the scope so fuck em - I’ve got a Samsung with crazy non standard software on it for my extra dodgy dealings, something no amount of legislation can make more accessible. Gotta do what you can to make it hard and very expensive for them to access
