Could you at least try to make a coherent argument?

It's well known why they did it to anyone save the most egregious idiot:

Trump not only removed many financial sanctions that the Obama administration had placed on Russia, he also refused to implement new ones recommended by the state department.

What's more, by reneging on the deal with Iran, he helped Russia's oil become more valuable.

Trump has done a great deal for Russia. That's the whole endgame everybody keeps missing.
I thought you said Butina hadn't done any espionage while sabotaging our election.

Jeez man, try to stay on topic.

Unless you are ready to concede.

So you are saying that she never reported back on the results? "to obtain information about the plans and operation"

Our faux lawyer is heading off to the deep end again. Just like when he claimed a person could be arrested for a "Fuck Trump" bumper sticker.

She was a spy for the Russian government, she committed sabotage on the election and of course she reported back any information she had. Has she been charged with espionage? OK, you can split that hair if you want but you'll have to pluck it from your own body. I'm not buying.

At one court hearing, prosecutors showed a photo of her dining with a Russian diplomat just north of the embassy just before that man, a suspected intelligence officer, left the US amid a purge of Russian agents.
I was agreeing with you bud. She could be charge with espionage but they will not do it...politics

That's ridiculous.

All we know is that it appears she's reached a plea deal as they've asked for a plea hearing as soon as possible.

Since she wasn't involved in any conduct even remotely resembling espionage, it's all but impossible for that to be the case.

Frankly, your statement is beyond stupid.

At best, she's probably going to plead guilty to campaign finance violations and interfering with an election. Both are pretty serious crimes. Even if her deal gets her out of any jail time, she can rest assured her days in the United States are over. Permanently.
I’m glad you agree she’s guilty of espionage

Whatever. When it never happens as usual you'll conveniently forget this thread.

They already backed off all the spy allegations. They already backed off all the sex for info allegations as well.

She quite literally did everything out in the open the entire time, so any espionage claim is going to be next to impossible to prove in court.

But keep on exaggerating and sensationalizing shit like Fox News does. It makes for good entertainment.

i think what they're trying to connect with her is that she facilitated russian money for trump campaign through the NRA and that NRA donations to trump campaign were directly from Kremlin..this obvi implicates the NRA as well..doing whatever it took to get trump elected.

she's young- would you go to prison for trump?..no one cares about her..she sat in jail this whole time, nobody balled her out. I'm going to say she has a story to tell since they made her sit in a cell and think about..far cry from these days:

some stupid pundit mentioned she was american- she's NOT..get your story straight media!

Maria Valeryevna Butina (Russian: Мари́я Вале́рьевна Бу́тина; born November 10, 1988; also transliterated as Mariia) is a Russian political activist alleged to have acted as an unregistered Russian agent, under 18 U.S.C. §951, in the United States. She is the founder of "Right to Bear Arms", a Russian group.

in case no one can put this together- she's a russian spy:wall:

And I was right. She's pleading to one count each of conspiracy to act as a foreign agent and failing to register as a foreign agent.

But she was only a grad student. Conducting research for her group the right to bear arms.

What they charged her with was acting as a foreign agent and failing to register as a foreign agent. I had assumed they'd lower those charges to election interference of some kind and campaign finance violations as she did in fact lobby for the GOP to a certain degree.

They didn't lower anything, she simply copped to what she was charged with and they changed the acting as a foreign agent to conspiracy probably for the sole purpose of getting Paul Erickson on the same charge.

Either way it's irrelevant. Each charge carries a maximum penalty of 10,000 dollar fine and 5 years imprisonment, so the most she would have done even if convicted would be around 4 years tops. I'm sure with the plea deal she's going to do no time at all and simply be deported exactly as I said before.

But do keep on hyping shit up like the other idiots did that turned out to be so fucking wrong it's laughable. As usual.
