Sorry it took so long for me to get back on brother. This full time job be taking a toll on me. I'd say slight nute burn. Maybe the soil is a little hot. Light bleaching would be more spotty all over the leaf as compared to being at just the tips. At least in my experience. I could be wrong. But hey they still look amazing! Your doing a great job brother!!! I chopped mine a couple days ago because even after a flush my plant was burning up. I dont know why. But I also have kinda neglected her because of my job keeping me away when lights were on and not getting home till they were off. Kinda bums me out but she smells amazing hanging there so we will see. Unfortunately my wife wants the bathroom back LMAO so I'm going to take a small break from growing probably till winter is over. Funny thing though, she never showed signs of being too cold when temps got below 50 at night. She seems to love it. I'll make a post soon updating my grow. Keep up the good work brother!First week of flower day three.
@Merica_Mike. I finally got around to taking the pictures I said I would.
Some of the tips on the fan leaves & sugar leaves seem to be burnt. I'm not sure if it's because they finally need some nutrients or if it's due to the light being at 27".
They did not look like this till this morning. I raised the light from 27" up to 30" just in case. I also mixed a batch of nutrients as well. I did not feed them yet (soil is still a bit damp)
Aurora recommends letting the mix sit with an airstone for 24 hours so that's what I'm going to do. I do not have an airstone, I have a disk. I mixed the feeding in a 1 gallon jug and I just stuck the air hose directly in because the disk wont fit lol.
I looked at some postings and pictures of deficiencies, but can not seem to figure out what exactly is going on if anything. Everything I've read seems to indicate light burn but still being new I'm not really sure. That's why I decided to raise the light & mix up a feeding. I figured if it is the light, raising it should help. If it's not the light then the feeding mix should do the trick.

One down many more to go dude get popping asap if you run the king gelato watch out she's a cal mag junkie lolHi everyone it's been a while since I've done an update. This one will be a bit long so bare with me. here it is.. week 9 from sprout and six weeks into flower.
I had to go away for three nights for Thanksgiving and I was obviously afraid to leave the girls once again. At that point I was watering or feeding every 3 days. I had given them a feeding right before I left so it worked out perfectly. When I got home & checked on them they were just fine.
A few days later I had to go out of state for a week & a half. again, obviously nervous about the girls and watering them. I decided to take a five gallon bucket and fill it with water and use a cotton clothesline from the bucket to the plants. It ended up working perfectly and when I got back they were still alive and well.
Ive been back for a week now.
I followed everyone's advice after the last up date and things got alot better! So thank you all for helping me out. I'm not able to post pictures as the camera on my phone broke when I was away. I also do not have a digital camera. A bit disappointing as I wanted to show you all how good the ladies turned out & to have the pictures for my self, o well.
I made a few mistakes along the way i.e. not feeding them for the first month as I thought there was enough nutrients in the soil to last that long & figuring out wattage/height for my light. Other than those two issues , I can not complain about the grow.
I expected to make some mistakes along the way. As most of you know It's been over 10 years since my last grow and at that time I had only 3 runs under the belt. I do not count those runs as I did not have a proper setup then like I do now. I thought I was going to have trouble dialing everything in, but everything worked out just fine! Other than those two issues I really am very happy with how things went. Now that I know more about my light along with wattage & height during the different grow stages, as well as not relying on the soil for nutrients alone in the first few weeks of vegetation. my next grow should be even better!
It looks like both plants will give me about 2 oz' each or just a bit under when they are cured.
I probably could have done a bit better on yeild, but again, I've never grown autos or used real equipment, soil or nutrients.
The buds are very frosty on both plants. The two main colas on both plants are huge. About a bear can & a half each. The other bud' are a decent size as well.
The blackberry kush' hight is about 28". The buds are tight & a beautiful purple color, they do not smell like cannabis at all! rather a very powerful berry smell & I love it.
The Mexican airlines is just shy of 3'. the buds are a dark/light green & white in color. They have a tiny bit of foxtailing but it does not bother me. It smells like diesel, skunk, dirt & cat piss. I'm glad I have a carbon filter because it is overbearing. every time I'm in the tent it makes me want to puke! I've smoked a lot of cannabis so far in my short life, but I've never smelled anything like it! At least not all four combined.
I do realize that this journal could have had more substance to it. I should have kept it more up to date & showed more content. Things are still a bit tough for me as I'm still learning to walk (almost of the walker). I also deal with pcs & migraines that render me useless most days. Although my situation sucks my spirits since I started this run have gotten alot better. My next journal I will try harder to be more consistent with updates and content.
I will be starting a new journal very soon. I'm just waiting for my prize from #teamvault to get here & then I will decide what I'm going to run next.
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My fault for the edits as well.
I think they are ready to chop now. I'm waiting on a friend to swing over to let me know for sure. The magnifying glass I have sucks. I think they are ready but I want to see what he thinks as he has more than 20 years growing. I'm also trying to get my hands on a camera to take pictures but if I cant get one and he says give em the cut I'm not going to wait. Yes it feels good to get back into the swing of things & now that I know how all my equipment runs to a t, things should be better next time around. Thanks for giving me the heads up on the king gelato! One down many more to go dude get popping asap if you run the king gelato watch out she's a cal mag junkie lol
well done you've blown the growing cobwebs off!
Thank you, I hope so as well.Hopefully it's a great harvest my friend.
Nice good to get a second opinion, yeah that king gelato has done it on me twice now everything else is fine but that one has to be different lol to different feeds to mix up is a pain but she wants what she wants the blue gelato 41 is turning out nice though.I think they are ready to chop now. Coast of Maine Platinum Grower's Blend is great stuff. Hard to find in a lot of places, but worth the effort. For a 7 gallon air pot shouldn't need anything added except ph'd water maybe a little terpene booster. Certainly nothing for the first 5 or 6 weeks. If you're in the Merrimack Valley area PM me and I'll tell you where to get it.Beachhhhhh. How go' is brother?
Hey, did you end up trying that coast of maine soil? I saw in a thread that you were checking it out but that thread died a few comments after.
I actually got a bag last weekend. Not bad on price it was 25 I think. I also had a credit to the shop and they didnt have roots original soil so I went with that. I grabbed a bag of the stonington blend and a bag of their ewc. I have some left over roots original soil as well. I'm thinking about mixing them together. I'm not sure what else I will need. I have a bunch of dry amendments from roots organic and a bunch of bottled nutes. I'm trying to stay away from the bottled stuff. I really hate mixing the nutes it's a pain due to mobility issues. I'm also thinking about going with some sip' this time around to make it a bit easier on me.Coast of Maine Platinum Grower's Blend is great stuff. It's going all right, Happy Christmas my fellow Bostonian! I fondly remember my Christmases on Beacon Hill, they were very special, I still remember how different and beautiful the same old red brick buildings looked in a fresh snow!Beachhhhhh. How go' is brother?

I didn't try it, I use fox farm ocean Forest but the guy at the hydro store told me that if you use a 7 gallon or bigger pot and the Stonington blend from Maine you shouldn't have to add any nutes during the entire length of the grow? He hadn't tried it but that's how its marketed
For autos 7gal should be OK ... I think they say 15 gal for photosIt's going all right, Happy Christmas my fellow Bostonian! I fondly remember my Christmases on Beacon Hill, they were very special, I still remember how different and beautiful the same old red brick buildings looked in a fresh snow!
