Definitely has more red, than PLC's. Which leads me to back to Hump's statement about the "sweet spot" for reds.
I had an off the shelf led(advanced xml 350) Had some ir,far reds, monos and cree 10w xpge(i think) in it.
Grew some dank with it, anecdotal but it did better than the HPS I was running of nearly the same wattage. Bud quality and yeild wise. same strain.
Talk about dialing down reds >>>> did u see this new tune city spectrum light:confused:

Dialing is an understatement yo! Jimminey cricket that light is badass! Bulky ass fuck tho. Guess it's a moot point in high bay applications. The spectral tuneability of the lamp is ridiculous. Spectrum chasers should be geeked over this. Hope they come out with a small scale grower tent model lol.

Question, I have a leftover cxa 3070 3500k from a bar build I did for my brother a while back. It's been sitting in the box all this time and I just found it.
Is it worth it to buy a driver and heatsink for it? If so what application would you use it for ? A supplemental spot light somewhere in veg or flower? In the tiny (20"x36"x62")clone/maybe veg until I get the other 2x4 tent?

yea make a good veg light but might be to powerfull for clones & heres a cheap $10 driver from PLC

Thought I'd drop a pic or two. Happy with my 120's indeed. Didn't change frame up, I'll revisit the design of them once the time permits.
They certainly bush out my girls.
These gals were topped once and defoliated all through out veg. They get 2 more and will be left alone to flower.20181211_171638.jpg 20181211_171652.jpg

It still bothers me that we have the same exact light+driver and yet you get 250 maxed out on your rig and I only get 218-220. @Humple @Stephenj37826 any ideas?

Edit*Humple, I now realize you have the A version.....I went back and reread your post here.
So, that cancels that. I think it was shimz that mentioned to me in the Qb thread...something to the effect of me not using all of the forward voltage of the driver. These boards are 24v
24v
2100ma
24v x 4qb = 96v
24v x 2.1A= 50.4watts per qb
50.4w x 4qb = 201.6 watts per 4 qb rig

5qb x 24v = 120v
50.4 x 5qb = 252w

If this math is correct, I'm one qb short on each rig to get 250 watts.
I'm not very confident, but amIright?
