Hi all, I just finished my first run in over 10 years last week. I was using roots organics original blend with their nutrients. I feel as if I did well with this last run especially for autos.
I did like the soil but mixing up nutrients is a huge pain in the ass. This time I decided to go with coast of maine stonington blend. I also grabbed a bag of their worm castings. I see that it's enough soil to feed throughout a run in a 15g pot but I will be using either 3 5g pots or 4 3gal pots due to space (2×4) restrictions.
I'm wanting to know if anyone has completed a run with this soil as the title implies? What else do you recommend too add to the soil too get me through to harvest?
I want to go truely organic this time around. The roots organics nutrients are organic by definition but are salty as all. Cannabis plants love salts but I feel as if there is way too much in that line of nutrients. I also feel like it's not truly organic & with all the salt I dont see how I could recycle the soil. The line did come with a few dry amendments but I did not use them as I didnt think they would brake down fast enough. I could be wrong, I have alot to learn but figured this would be a good place to start.
Any and all help is appreciated.
