My first legal Oklahoma grow...Ethos genetics in 4x4 with 600w HID

Gorilla Glue #4 x Zkittles called Glittlez R1, it was a freebie pack so I decided to use that for my first grow ever. Going to go fully organic as I should be building my soil this weekend. Think I'm going to use a mix of coco, ewc, perlite, neem, crab, kelp, bone, blood, langbeinite, and azomite. Inoculate with agave nectar, mykos, and oregonism xl. Let it cook for a few weeks or a month and transplant when the girls are ready, that's the game plan. I started the first one in the larger pot Wednesday, the second a day later and today I decided to water another seed. Going to flower 3 at a time my first run and see how it goes...anyone is welcome to comment on this

Added a little more soil and gave em a water this morning...temps have been super manageable 72-77...don't have any automation right now so trying to find that sweet spot with the thermostat and the apartment vents.

Yeah it's crazy how fast we implemented...we voted back in June and had stores with weed in them by October. I'm legally allowed 6 mature and 6 seedling per patient in the household. I can buy/possess 3 zips at a time or a zip of concentrate...I forget the edible limit but it's way more than you need haha Oklahoma is the new green rush right now

It's from the same bag nothing could be different about it other than maybe different ratios of material fell out...I did top dress with some earthworm castings but it's just looked different from the first plant since it sprouted so I'm hoping it's just a phenomenal/genetics thing? I feel like it's doing fine, unless I start to see some discoloration or something. I've been riding the struggle bus but I got paid today...think it might be wise to replant into a better pot now or should I wait for more growth?

It must be the earthworm castings I'm seeing on the surface. I don't like to up-pot until near root-bound status. Root size is proportional to plant size (link) and when leaves are growing roots are also growing. I would choose to wait and observe, and I would let the mix dry. As the plant and roots get larger, the watering interval will decrease, so you can make inferences about whether it's up-pot time from watering frequency.

In general you have to be careful about topdressings, a young plant doesn't need much fertilizer. A worst-case scenario is when roots avoid growing into it and it holds more water than the rest of the mix leading to fungus issues and stem or root rot.

Started seeing roots coming out the bottom of the one in the styrofoam cup so I mixed up some coco/ewc/perlite and repotted it...IDK how I did lmao, It didnt want to come out in one piece. The top layer of soil started crumbling away so I stopped trying to get it out that way and decided to tear the cup away. Got a little dirt on her but I hope I did good...

Seeing some stress in the one I repotted...it hasn't gotten worse but I'm waiting on her to perk back up. Top dressed with some light nutes and mykos/Oregonism.

Accidentally tipped this guy over while I was repotting the other plant. It drooped slightly...I'm a klutz but we're learning from mistakes lmao Im pretty happy with the node spacing though

Hey there, I'm a fellow new medical Okie grower. Looking good, don't stress on it too much. You will kill a few plants, it happens. Not saying these are dying, they look good, they're growing nicely. Easy on the nutes, plants that size don't need much depending on what's in your medium. You're going burn em and that won't be good. Lol, don't be like me and learn the hard way. Also, are you using two different types of pots? I use those fabric pots, 1 gallon to 7 gallon, I've been experimenting with different stuff. It's really the only way I learn. I can read all day but I have to do with it my hands to really learn, ya know. Oh, and what's your water source?

Cheers man! Yeah I got a bit of a ragtag start before all my materials came in...with the eldest plant I just got impatient and ran down to Lowes and got a pot and some organic soil to start a seed in. Now I have 1 gallon bags and 7 gallon bags for when they get bigger. I'm thinking I might just keep it in that Lowes container until its time to move it to a 7...its slightly smaller than a gallon pot but I dont think its small enough to warrant repotting it to a 1 gallon bag. I've just been watering with Sams choice water

The stressed one has definitely perked up...couple fresh babies in the garden!

Big mama is thriving pretty well...I've topped at the fifth node and have two buckets of super soil cooking since last night. The stressed one looks a lot better but you can definitely tell it fell behind the other plant.
