Some people say I've got a problem... I don't know... Anyone else have roots this brown?

So I'm a fair way into this grow.. first time ever. I'm very attentive and check everything at least once every 2 days. I'm pretty relaxed with ppm range but always keep pH in check. I added some bio stims in the 4th week (first pic) which turned my roots into this brown colour you see today. I stopped the BIOS and organics almost immediately and haven't used them to this day. Running RDWC as you can see. Plant is just booming, noticably larger every day. Roots are 'squeaky' to the touch and no smell at all... I haven't bothered up until now with any sterilisation however now I'm using Pythoff by flairform. It hasn't changed the colour at all.
Res temp : 19c /66f
Air temp : 24c /75f
pH : 5.8 - 6.0
PPM : 650 - 750
Humidity : 65%
A + B : 30.10.40
Silica
Calmag + fulvic
Strain : Chocoloco
I see a lot of people posting pearly white roots and I know that the use of hydroguard or h2o2 is common and probably why those roots are so clean. Anyone else look like this? I don't think I have a problem to be honest..

looks good to me

good job

the discoloring could be from your additives/ fulvic/kelp/beneficial bacteria (BB) or you had the start of something and youve managed to suppress it or keep it in check

the pythoff product im not personally familiar with but id suspect it would work against BB, but im not sure!
but it might be one or the other and not both... if the pythoff is killing any BB

personally i run a sterile res so i dont use BB or any of the organic additives to me res to keep it clean
i use either h202 or bleach at around 2ppm

but plenty of people go the BB route with success, its just not my thing

the color of the root probably wont change back to white on the old growth but the new growth should be white

if you want to get away from the BB id consider either
h202 3% @ 12ml per gallon every 3rd day
or
bleach 6% @ 0.125mls per gallon every 3rd day (which is 2ppm)

there is also another method that requires daily additions of a lower % but i dont recall the recommended doses exactly but i think for bleach its half

for example
day one = 0.125 ml/gallon
day two = 0.0625 ml/ gallon each day after

i personally never go over 2ppm max dose as a preventative... but i believe if you have on going root disease and bad slime and stink ive read up to 4ppm can be used (0.25ml per gallon) as a one time shock

lots of people also use a pool shock product but i dont have the info on it

Looks good to me. It could be the nutrient solution staining them. Rez temp is perfect, and at that temp the solution will carry lots of o2. I had root temps get too warm on some outdoor tomatoes in DWC and they went doodoo brown and slimey within a couple of days of temps rising. Just clean with bleach next time after you harvest. Keep up the good work.

Awesome dude. Thanks for all that great info. I'll have a closer look at the Pythoff label later and maybe post it here. I'll carry on as I am for the time being... Going to flip it next week so we'll see how it goes with a different setup.
Cheers

Great, thanks for the vote of confidence... I'll be back if things start going south.
