Can someone help me figure out what’s wrong with my plants? They are all doing the samething some worse than others.
Basically a lot of the bottom leaves have turned yellow and died or are turning yellow.
I am day 14 of flower also I added some nitrogen because i thought that would help but has not,, and tried calcium... No idea what it is at this point. I’m using go box general organics. Overall they all seem to be doing pretty well but their bottom leaves are turning yellow.
Also My normal water is 6.5 pH
I’ve been pHing up to 6.0 with nutes, Run off is6.1-6.5
Also you can see in one of the pictures I tied a leaf up with a pipe cleaner so that I could get the buds more light
I did this all over my plants could this have caused stress on them?

Need more info, and post pics of whole plants. Looks like nitrogen diff. What strength are you feeding, how often, how big of pots, what medium...

the first two pics look low on mag for whatever reason. The pipe cleaner thing get rid of it, bend the leaf out of the way or pic it off. Checking ph run-off isnt something you need to do.

Excessive nitrogen in flower will give you stretchy plants and airy buds. You didnt hurt anything cuz its still early but wanted to mention it.

Thanks and done.
I thought it may be Cal mag, but it could also be stress from the pipe cleaners

I can’t take a picture till a bit later fortunately.
I’m in Fox Farm happy frog ocean forest mix that is definitely out of nutrients at this point. last time I transplanted was at least five weeks ago little bit more.
I’m in 3 gallon smart pots (It could be root bound but I don’t think that’s it either because they’re holding water for 2 to 3 days.
I’m using general organics go box and so far I’ve used Cal mag, half bio thrive/half biobloom and Their bio Marine and Fox Farms big bloom.
I made sure not to overdo it on the nutes at first and the yellow had already started.
I thought it was a nitrogen deficiency but now that I am 15 days in the flower I’m thinking it’s definitely something else at this point.
They look great overall. like if I’m looking at them from above they look exactly how I want them to. But then when I pee or under them there’s a bunch of yellow leaves on the bottom. I will get pictures a little bit later thank you for your help

not cal mag, mag/epsom salt at 1.5-2gr per gal for a couple of feedings then use 1gr per gal for a maintenance dose. If you use the calmag then that would be about 5ml per gal for a few feedings and then 2.5ml as a maintenanace dose. Should see an improvement in a few days if not dont go to the maintenance dose till it improves.

The pipe cleaners were a perfect way to get pm forming on the leaves.

Ok thank you. What does pm mean?
Also a lot of the stems are red so I think that has the Meg deficiency sign to

You’re so right because when I undid the leaves there was some water in between them.
There are a lot of red stema I’m guessing that has to do with Meg deficiency as well anyways thanks for the help

Right on when I say improves only the least damaged leaves might come back, the ones that are really damaged are not going to look better and could be picked off. You just dont want to see it continue fading out

i’m going to pick up some Epsom salt now.
I’ve been giving Cal mag 5 mL, do you think I should give Just Epsom salt in the doses you recommended without Cal mag?
Thanks

thought about it and will say to give epsom salt with the calmag. Keep it the same add epsom so you only change one thing at a time so you can see the results from doing one thing if it works great if not time to re-evaluate.

no just do a nice thorough feeding to some run off
OK sorry For asking so many questions but
I should feed just Cal mag?and how much?
Or should I feed for feeding schedule with Cal mag?
Or should I use Epsom salt?
I really appreciate the help so far and I am sorry if I am a bother
Ps. One of my problems right now is my pH tester broke just the other day ( although the yellow leaves have been a problem for a little while now) I know for sure my well water 6.5 and stays consistently that

LW,
It appears Bernie already gave you that info a few posts up. If you are using calmag yet want more Mg without messing with Ca...It's ok to use both. I believe that's what he was getting at.

Thanks and that is helpful because I misunderstood a couple things he said.
That being said thank you Bernie for helping me because you were really accurate about everything you said so far I gave them some Cal mag and a little bit of Epsom salt and they are looking phenomenal
So I will see how the yellow persists in another few days to a week
Thanks guys
Just got my quantum boards in the mail looking forward to setting those up
