I'm always paranoid there's still alcohol in the recovered product, that's why I'm looking at a vacuum purge. I don't know if my fear is rational or if I'm just plain not sure.

Do y’all ever use distillate to fill your carts, and if so, do you cut it with anything? Would wax liquidizer work? I’m looking into making some, but they’re to flip and I’d rather cut it down than make 80 dollar carts.

edit: also I've seen that some of you have found the cartridges with the larger holes, do you got any links? thanks.

well got a half oz of distillate last night, made a cart with some. was super potent, used a couple drops of the grape terps and it tasted REALLY nice. I did notice that it seemed to be leaking into the draw tube of the cartridge though, has that happened to any of ya'll? when you try to draw, you can hear it bubbling inside the tube, like it leaked past the ceramic without vaping. I wonder why thats happening, is it just a shit cart or is it the oil itself? I cut it down with a small amount of MCT oil.

Mct oil? Shouldn’t use that from what I’ve read

Yes occasionally man will do that when I first start to draw on it but it’s only on fresh cart. If it continues to do that yes the cart is bad

huh, I feel like it started off fine, but maybe 20 or so hits in it started to do it. I bet it is the cart, I was a cheap shit and bought some of the cheaper ceramic carts off ebay. I got some ccell ones coming real soon, and if they suck i'm just gonna bite the bullet and buy the real deals for a few bucks a piece and just roll that into the cost of the carts.

I’ll have to look into it, so much info out there is generated by marketing firms... fuck we don’t know what to believe. I haven’t had a bad cart in awhile. I did have a coil burn out I one

I made a simple bucket winterizer. It has a small hole with a gasket I stick the vacuum cleaner into.
And a larger hole a long funnel goes into, all the way to the bottom of a jar standing in the bucket.
When you pulse the vacuum cleaner it sucks through the air, dropping the winterized alcohol in the glass.

I've been having a problem with carts I made not hitting. Are you supposed to use it quick? Vapuer terp mix that a few weeks old, and it just doesn't vape. It might have gotten a little darker, but otherwise looks fine. Brand new ccell carts and new batteries. I'm thinking about taking the oil out and putting back on a hot plate, maybe add a little terps and remix under heat. Anyone got any ideas?

I’m not hooking my stuff to a shop vac, yuk. I’m not knocking your process, I’m just not doing that

Are you pulling the majority of fats and lipids off some how? You should....

The fats will clog the ports quickly and with a standard pen and cart us guys doing DIY need to either pull the fats off by winterizeing or by a physical filtering with .22micron filter packets
Just my redneck 2 cents

Oh yeah I am, I have the filters. And I don't even push through with the plunger. I pull the plunger out and let gravity run it through overnight. I'm a little puzzled, going to remix under a little heat. I'll post back what happens. I've gotta get this figured out though, vaping had became my go to at work.
