Seachem Prime

The tap water conditioner in the red/white bottle used for aquariums.

Is this stuff safe for use in hydroponics/DWC? Will it spike certain elements of my water like pH, nitrates etc..? Does anyone know the drop to gallon ratio I would use? e.g. 1 drop of Seachem Prime for 1 gallon. I already let my water sit for 24 hours with an air bubbler, but the Seachem Prime removes chloramine as well. I can't seem to find much on this topic, so any help is appreciated! Thank you.

I've been using it for a few weeks now, it seems to work great. 1-2 drops per gallon, it works pretty quickly. Perhaps in the amount of time it takes you to stir, so you don't need to let it steep. Before I used it I called them to confirm that it had no ingredient which would interact with fertilizer, and they agreed it's safe and inert against everything but what's on the label. Plants are doing well, and I don't need to buy a water filter or RO machine now.

You're awesome! Thank you for bringing this thread back, completely forgot I had asked.. I think I'm going to try and start using it, having multiple 5 gallon buckets filled at all times for water changes/reservoir is not so ideal.
