Can indica's get tall?

my plants are around 13" high and in week 7 they are a mostly indica hybrid strain but the growth rate is considerably slower now they are growing up to 1 inch per day or less. i wanted to get them to at least 30 inches high before flowering.

I am wondering if this is possible or am i just reducing my yields by doing so?

Whether the plant is an auto flowering strain or not is what determines the height in my opinion. The autos that I've grown in the past usually never got taller than 40 inches.

Autos CAN grow bigger than 4 or 5 foot . If planted in final size from the start ( soil ) , and gets to be bigger in hydro ( Hempy , DWC , ) as this allows the best way to increase rootmass.

Hybrids are just that a mix of two main classes of marijuana ( Indy and Sativa ) , so some will LEAN to one dominant trait or the other. That is why some strains will exhibit different structures and pheno even from the same batch.

As long as you Veg it out properly ( reg photo ) say 6-8 weeks , with some training thrown in , then a flip you can get some trees out of your effort. BUT ..... Be aware plants will double sometimes triple in size.

i have some that are 5ft tall right now.

they are photo's blue widows.just wondering because my plants seem to be growing slower then usual and i can't pin point the issue due to various issues mainly nitrogen toxicity and nutrient lock out via intentional over feeding. it's been weeks since though and i've been just watering them and feeding extremely little. they seem to be focusing more on inner node growth more then anything right now though like the tops grow slowly but the inner nodes grow out quite a bit for nodes that are not receiving much light in general

nice those are pretty bushy how long it take you to get them that big? mine are growing okay but idk it just feels really damn slow it's like watching paint dry. my first time growing an indica hybrid too the plants my dad grows and my firs grow were sativa heavy hybrids. i am also worried because these plants at first they grew short and stacked then went through a growth spurt and then they seem to be back to the short and stacked again.

im sure they will be fine they just started pre flowering or showing sex as well even though they are feminized got to check if they hermied just kinda want them to take in the extra growth i want before flipping otherwise im flipping regardless of the height.

i mean either way for my 2nd grow they are very nice for the lack of skills and knowledge i posses my first grow was hell but she has nice buds for now until i flower these ones

damn yea i don't have that kind of patience or room to grow that large with decently good buds. i get veg for a long time but i have no room to flower besides outside but due to laws and pests in our garden it's highly risky. can't even take my plants outside for a single day without bringing in pests

I let in whatever pests that want to come in, but recommend they not spend the night. I hang crystals and hot shot pest strips, then sweep them all off the floor in the morning, kind of interesting to see what all comes in daily.

crystals? well i mainly am dealing with these white little bugs they come in massive clusters but look very pale and are super tiny but they always hang out under the leaves mainly at the very bottom of the plants but rarely do i find them near the top. i have no idea what they are but i see a lot of them all the time. they look kinda like spider mites but it's hard to tell they are super tiny. they dont seem to do much harm to the plants though. i have never had any issues with other bugs besides thrips maybe but usually after 1 spray they are gone.

the biggest pest for my indoor grow is my cat though she is just gnawing the hell out of the leaves
