Using fox farm nutes simultaneously

Hey there,

I'm using motherearth groundswell (it's got bat poop and other good stuff in it) and the guy at the shop said I should start using nutes around day 20/30. I have fox farm grow big and big bloom. Should I start feeding the plants both of these at half strength simultaneously, or start wtih one before the other? Keeping in mind I'm growing autos.

If they seem like they want it go with veg nutes and when you start to see the preflowers go with which ever has the most phosphorus and slowly back off veg, then after the stretch feed mostly potassium with adequate phosphorus.

Hard to correct a toxicity with autos so i would start 1/4 of the recommended dosage.

Anyway thats what i would do.

Yeah. Don’t need to feed that little one. Keep the shopkeepers advice and start at day 30 (if it needs it).

Don’t get in too much of a hurry to start feeding. They still have more than enough. Learn to read your plants.

Looking for when they start to lose deep green color, they get lighter green

you can likely feed big bloom already i assume that mother earth stuff you got is what big bloom is like. big bloom is extremely weak you can easily feed now but i doubt you'd even need to until day 30-40. if your going to use big bloom and grow big use both. grow big is the veg nutes and big bloom is an all around use you can use it during veg and flowering it's got bat guano, worm castings, kelp i think, and other stuff as well.

feed 1/4th strength first then up it as the plants show signs of needing more or lower if they need less. do NOT follow what the bottle instructions tell you i can for a fact tell you that is how you will get nitrogen toxicity as that is what i did intentionally. feeding schedule is half of what the bottle instructions say so you can just half the feeding schedule for 1/4th.

i've never had issues feeding big bloom even early i try not to though but with my current grow since i was experimenting i did so but i would feed after 30 days personally never had any issue with my last grow by doing so. it's really hard to under feed tbh but it's easy to over feed.
