Timber 3vl

While it would technically give you enough light (33 watts per square ft) I don't think you will get even coverage. That fixture is 42" long so it would need to be hung diagonally in the tent. That particular fixture is designed for a 2x4 area.

You would have to check with them for restocking date. (its the extra wide heatsink to give better spread over square spaces)

A lot more power and a bit more than needed. You would have to build a frame from aluminium angle. Its not much over the budget.

Or build a light yourself. http://ledgardener.com/diy-guides/

Edit the timber is on sale currently so its a lot of light for the price.

I would recommend anything in a "square" layout at around 400 watts. I prefer a 3000K-3500K color spectrum. You can't go wrong with Timber products and customer service!

Well I talked to Dan earlier he said he could shorten the 3vl to 34in. to fit in my tent. But by the time I'll be buying my light looks like his sale will be over so it's making its way toward more thank I'm able to spend but those quantum boards up there are looking pretty tempting

they would both work great.

i've grown with that exact timber setup in a 3x3 (400w square) and it absolutely rocks
