And I only plan on using pk as a additive
I used to use canna but there base nutrients lack magnesium (in flower). I grow under led and it was a pain in the ass. Now I use Megacrop and its way better. I make my own hammerhead pk supplement. And no dont go by their feeding regimens. 7Mls of a and b (plus some epsom salts) should be ok for the whole grow but take it easy in seedling stage at first.

7mls? To how much water?

I choose the 'light feeding' option. Works a treat. Occasionally I have had to dial back or add more, but it's a good guideline.

What additives do you use actually what's your setup just curious

Ok cool thanks for the feedback how much Epsom salts to how many litres and 7 mls of a and b to how many litres

Currently I'm using their whole range, is expensive but I like it and has always delivered good results. In the past I got by using a and b on its own but it definitely lacks a little.
Im using 600w mh/hps. Coco.
Their online calculator has been a good guideline for me, but it is just that, a guide.
Happy growing man. :leaf:

I have used canna for years, I used to use the whole range but cut back to base nutes and pk in small dose mid flower.
Guess what, no reduction in quality or quantity...

I also use a seaweed extract, that cost almost nothing and last me all year.

I find less is more, no need to use the full dose and I can go around 1.2ec all through the grow without seeing a problem, in fact your less likely to see a problem when your not throwing loads of nutrients in there.

When plants are well established I feed daily.

With new coco its a good idea to have a bottle of cal/mag. I reuse my coco for years though so don't really see calcium def.
The line is intended for use with tap water so the need for cal/mag or just mag will depend on whats in your water.

Sorry, I have edited my post, it should of said I use base nutes and PK in small doses.

A lot of people say PK boosters are a waste but because a small bottle lasts many grows I use it sparingly.
I tend to start it early but run it for a few weeks but only half dose.
Because the canna range is a whole grow nutrient I prefer to up the potassium and phosphorus by way of the pk, which is obviously the point.
Other nutrient lines have veg nutes and bloom nutes so I can see why it may not be needed in that situation.

I think the key to any nutrient is to not fall into the trap of thinking more of any one thing equals more yield or potency.
