I think that once an election is finished, the will of the electorate is final and to be respected. Sure, contest the primary of an incumbent by legally helping finance the campaign of another if you want to primary somebody. But the winner is beholden only to the electorate of that district. For example, Peter Defazio, my congressman represent my district and not yours. My district has a contingent of unemployed loggers that Defazio favors in his legislation. He supports them, not the logging company. The Koch brothers are fervently behind Republican candidates but we keep electing Defazio.

If you like, we can discuss why you so fervently support Richard Ojeda, a self proclaimed pro-coal Democrat. If you actually listen to him, he agrees with Trump on immigration issues. I don't dispute that he is a Democrat who represents West Virginia but as with Manchin who is very closely aligned with Ojeda, I expect and advocate my representation for Oregon to only work with them when there are common interests.
