Hey all,

This is the first time I have grown anything.

Unknown Sativa from clone (moms hit 8' tall outdoors)
2.5 gal pots, pro mix hp/ perlite (75/25)
1/2 strength bottled nutes, ro water cal mag every water (occasionally just water and calmag)
WaterPH @ 5.5-6 (drops)
Vegged aprox 2 months
2x 300w (130w each actual) Led
Makeshift scrog 2'x4'
temps 20c-25c
rh currently 40% @ 20c
Currently day 56 since flip to 12/12

How much longer would you guess till finish?
any suggestions on harvesting.

4+ more weeks. Sativa take 12-16 weeks and yours has a while to go.

They will definitely bulk up! Looks like it should be awesome, just try to keep them healthy.

The first couple weeks after you flip to 12/12 aren't actually part of flower time. That is the transition period when the plant probably did a lot I stretching.

Then flowers started to form and being a sativa it will take 12-16 weeks of actual flower time. Pure sativas can yield nice and have an awesome high if you can keep them growing and let them ripen fully. They put on most of their weight the last few weeks also.

Figured I'd post a quick update for week 10 (f72) since flip

Definitively starting to fatten up a bit :)

Its been a learning experience so far, so good.

A few mistakes were made:
~first re pot was from garden soil of unknown composition from the yard (almost killed them)
~i think ph was to low for most of the grow 5-5.5
~probably over fed
~bigger pots might have been beneficial ( 5 gal buckets maybe)

Any comments/criticism and suggestions for the next few weeks would be appreciated.

Looks like they have fattened up quite a bit. It looks like a few more weeks to go. I would guess 3 based on the fresh pistils growing still. During that time they should finish getting larger, and start to swell inside and get denser. They will also really start to mature then.

I agree thet may have been over fed at some point, but all in all looking good!

Here we are 12 weeks since start of 12/12

Still throwing white pistils, tricomes are looking cloudier and buds are fattening up.
Im guessing they still have a few more weeks to go.

My drying space is sitting around 16'c and about 40% rh.
I plan on trying to keep as much stalk on the plants as I harvest and am anticipating hanging for 4-7 days
Followed by burping Mason Jars with temp/rh monitors targeting 60% followed by Bovida 58 packs.
Sound like a good plan?

First grow, congratulations.:clap:
Be patient, yes you have weeks to go.
How much time passed between flip and and seeing the first buds? Flower begins when buds (not hairs) start to form.

Next time I suggest that you lighten up on the defoliation and let your plant(s) veg longer.
I let my girls go until they "look ready" and are throwing out hairs.

Took about 2 weeks before buds appeared. (So really 10ish weeks in)

Thanks for the tip on vegging. These girls were pretty small when I decided to start flowering. Next run with this strain will be 4 plants vegged twice as long and I won't tuck as aggressively.

I have to admit I took an early sample from a bottom bud. Has a nice subtle pine/citrus aroma. Had myself a little wake and bake for Superbowl Sunday.

Just for fun, anyone have guesses on strain?
How about yield?

but in all seriousness good on you for having that much patience your first grow. I just did a 15 week strain and it took for goddamn ever! some of the best I've grown though, well worth the wait. Whatever you got looks good.

14 weeks since flip (95 days)

Approximately 12 weeks since flowers started showing up.

Temps have been averaging 20c (18c-23c) and RH 30% (25%-40%)
Nice spicy/citrus aroma at lights on maybe Lemon Haze......Ill never know ;)
Still throwing hairs, leaves are getting crispy and falling off.

Is the foxtailing indicative of finishing soon, or a result of too much light?
Trichomes seem mostly cloudy, hard pressed to find much amber.



Whacha think.....days or weeks to go?
