How Much Can I Expect?! (flowering)

my light is about 340w?!
Why is it labeled 700w?

?
Some Chinese sales tactic to make it sound bigger or more powerful.
It is made of 140x 5w chips.
140 x 5 = 700

But they power them less than max to prolong the life expectancy of the LED or they would burn out very quick.

my grow area is about 3' x 3'

and,
Now, only the grow button is on. (Of course they are on the grow stage)
But, do I have to turn on both buttons on the flowering stage?
Not only turn on the bloom button?
Purple lights like that are labeled by the max theoretical wattage the LEDS can run at... (which is almost impossible without some crazy heat control, and wildly inefficient)

Think about adding another 100-150W of light (measured at the wall, or from credible sources) and you'd be close to optimal

Yes turn both buttons on. Your light will flower your area pretty well actually. Feel good.

The plant will adapt to most any light within 390nm-725nm range. So YES turn on both switches as they are both within 390-725nm.

340w light = ~(9.0oz-15.0oz) if everything goes well.

Don't spend your time worrying about amount for your first few grows but rather quality. Sooner or later they will meet somewhere down the line. If you concentrate on quantity amount is sure to follow.

Kind of like when I used to race motorcycles,

Don't try to be fast, try to be smooth, fast is the byproduct of smooth.

Quantity is the byproduct of quality.
