If you are handy, already have the tools and ordered all the parts off of ebay.
Purchased the Aluminum and drilled the plates yourself
Should cost you around $150 to make plate and controller.

Sasquash...that's brilliant...lol...It was my buddy’s. He has the Sasquash. Works great.
Congrats but, $20+ for a single F1 seed? I got the same email but $249 for 11 seeds at regular price plus discount was a hard pass for me. For Canuk seeds..... $20+ a seed....SMH. If it was $5 or less a seed specifically because of the breeder, but they seem to over value their offerings. So I had good success with Canuk Seeds this year Blueberry and GG#4. One of my resolutions is not to buy seeds in 2019.
Instead of going out this year I spent my NYE budget on seeds.

I've had excellent results from Canuk. Not so much with other breeders so far. I don't think $152 is too much for 12 different strains.Congrats but, $20+ for a single F1 seed? Could have ordered from attitude and stacked a bunch of promos and ended up with more reliable, trusted and known breeders and twice the seeds.
Fair enough, but I'm not sure what kinda pheno selection you're going to get from a single seed per strain. Especially being F1's. I'm looking forward to seeing how their bubba looks.I've had excellent results from Canuk. Not so much with other breeders so far. I don't think $152 is too much for 12 different strains.

I have wondered about their bubba, mostly because they say it is a bubblegum cross which is not true of actual bubba.Fair enough, but I'm not sure what kinda pheno selection you're going to get from a single seed per strain. Bet that's gonna be tasty..nice job!Best part is it is 100% Canadian bred and not even close to 20 something bucks a seed.
Cheers
The smell is absolutely amazing. Smells like rocket candies with a hint of kush.Bet that's gonna be tasty..nice job!
Hey farmer j the press works well, but i have a queation. Between your qauge and press where the fitting is, what do you have for a seal? 1 nylon washer, or 2? Or o-ring or combo? Mine seeps a tiny bit of oil when left under preasure, and i would rather not habe to keep topping it up or ever worry about any contination or big mess making.I have the same press and so does @berulakide
I followed @Greengenes707 DIY plate video.
The video I used got taken down, here is his new video. My plates/pid set up cost about $230 to build.
Yeah mine seeps a bit too, but I like having the gauge. I'll press 1 ton for a minute to warm up my material, then every 15 seconds after that I bump the pressure slowly until I get to 6 1/2 tons.Hey farmer j the press works well, but i have a queation. The diagram in the book shows 1 but it came with 2 and a small o-ring??
Ok, at least i know im not the only one. The guage came with the press so no extra dough spent there. I like having it, and i do kinda the same as you farmer j and do about a ton to warm up then increase a ton or so every so often as well.Yeah mine seeps a bit too, but I like having the gauge.
