What you have read is bullshit about the saturation.
You need to have a coco/perlite mix at 70/30 , you need to let the medium dry between waterings like soil also you need to reduce the ppm they are getting overfed atm they dont need much food they are just seedlings.
If the coco is good quality and well washed you wont have much salt build up like soil , just make sure when you water you fill the bottom saucer each time.
OP this here is more misinformation. Theres alot of of ways to skin a cat and him saying that saturation/keeping the coco moist at all times is bullshit is just plain ignorance on his part. Ive watered seedlings in pure coco everyday and I keep my environment in check and I have NEVER lost a plant to "overwatering". Hell, I even did an experiment on watering a seedling 6 times a day and they still grew like normal.
Also, be very careful on letting your coco dry out because the salts can dry up and cause the ec and ph in the media to skyrocket. I tried it that way and I never was succesful. I find it easier to water everyday or have a drip system setup to do it for me.
Another thing, if you have powerful/quality lights the plants will need more food/nutrients the closer they are to that light.

What are you using Shawnry ? I currently sing Hydroguard for the first time now, after everything that’s been going on. Figured it couldn’t hurt.
Update: well they seem to have liked me giving them some we’re that wasn’t 50f, imagine that. I’m now giving them water that’s 68-70f and they perked right up. 7D6EDD69-DBB5-4796-B095-6ACFDE7D0589.jpeg I also bumped my ppm up to 300 instead of 200 and I’ve satured the entire grow bag. I’m going back to watering once a day until I get a little run off, and They seem to have liked what I’ve done. FA25E813-9177-4790-9252-F43F0318A25C.jpeg

Thats exactly why I was told to water every day. Build ups and then bam, you get hit hard and dry everything. I am following what Toledo guys on YouTube do, water every single day. If you are a disbeliever or question it, just go to their channels and watch their videos. They have the best yields I’ve ever seen , out of anyone on YouTube at least, and they preach, you must water every single day. When you are getting 19oz or two pounds off one autoflowers plant, doing it this way, I think you may be on to something. But they say you must eater every day and treat coco like hydro, and Mever let it dry out. Cox holds too much oxygen and your roots will never starve for air doing this. I’m sticking to it as both of them told me to keep doing it and I will see. You can check all tier videos out , somehighguy and growpotcheaply.

As you can see there are many ways to grow with coco and most folks think theirs is the best, some think theirs is the only way.

Does this look bigger than yesterdays picture to anyone else ? I swear they got a lot bigger in just 24 hrs . First pic is today. Second pic is yesterday . They also got a little less green. Pumped the PPM up to 400390919B0-9F05-41C1-AD8D-EA11D7BF3E82.jpeg

Cut a disc of something and cover your growdan from the light else you'll soon have a layer of icky slime to look at every day! Harmless but unsightly especially with nutes you can get all kinds of funk going on

They seem to be doing way better than before, hopefully I’ve got this down now. Thanks for everyone’s help, opinions, etc. I know everyone has their own way of growing, and that’s what’s awesome about growing, and rollitup. I had a game plan as to what I wanted to do, but y’all helped dial it in for me with some suggestions and
It’s worked. I’ve been back on the water everyday, feed every watering schedule for almost a week again and they’re loving it. I just needed to dial in a couple variables, like my temp in my grow room, temp of my water, and I’ve started using Hydroguard with every single watering as well. I hope this shows some of the people out there that you can water coco every single day. I’ll keep posting updates along the way. Thanks again everyone.

Plants have taken off. In just a week I’ve seen crazy amounts of growth. Just got done ripping them all. I hope they can keep it up, so far so good ! 7D92FBF9-173C-420B-AD80-1E64B2415657.jpeg

ok , I’m growing in coco for the first time and growing in Grodan cubes for the first time also. I’m using the AN sensi coco line for both. My PH is alway 5.8-5.9, I’m feeding them every day, not much keeping my PPM at 200, probably around a half cup of water. See pic for reference. I’m not using cal mag as the coco lineup is supposed to already have enough in it. My temps are 74 usually, I have them under a G8LED900 with it about 4 ft over they canopy, and , my RH at 50%. I’ve had slow growth since they popped out of the coco on the 19th of December. Now, a couple were lying over almost like we’re dying or their stems were weak at the base, and I started getting rust spots on the leaves. My first instinct is that I’m over watering, but I’m in coco so I thought I’m fine and I’m not giving them a lot of water. I follow growpotcheaply on YouTube and I’m following what he’s done and he grows monster auto flowers by feeding this way every single day. He says to water/feed every single day. So, my next thought was calmag or root issues. So tonight I added a little calmag and also a little Hydroguard . If this doesn’t work idk what else to do except flush, get rid of my AN shit and go for GH floranova. If Anyone can help I’d be very appreciative. I don’t wanna give up on coco so soon but man, my soil plants or luckydog plants that I usually grow in always look better and grow faster than this.
