I'll vote for Sanders if he wins the primary.

Sanders is OK. His bandwagon is obnoxious but Sanders is not as bad as Trump. So, I'd vote for him. Too bad that Cult of Sanders would rather have Trump but that's not going to affect my vote

Why do some people think corporate donations are the root of all evil?

Is that the only fucking thing they vote on or what?

No other issues, right?

The corporation I worked for literally gave money to both sides in state senate races. I approved of one side whole heartedly. The other side sucks but I guess they wanted to be able to say 'we gave you money' if they ever wanted something.

So what? Just because you want something doesn't mean you'll get it. It just means they might listen before they say no.

I'd never give Trump the kind of help you Sanders supporters say you would give.

That said, Sanders has to show me he can win over more than white men to vote for him, which he clearly did not do in 2016.

Of course THAT won't happen because he showed his true divisive and uninspiring self in Jackson Mississippi on April 4, 2018.

That said, if I'm wrong and wins the primary he will be the most liberal candidate on the ballot in November. So I'll vote for him.

Because Trump is worse.

It would be impossible for her to not read posts about herself no matter what they say. Every now and then when she simply has to respond, she floats the lie that she clears her ignore list monthly (in honor of her pre-menapausal cycle) because she is the forgiving type.

Schuylaar is such a narcissist that the only one she needs to fool is herself.

OK, so, Kamala Harris is supposed to say she's running soon. That's nice. The list of people who are thinking about it is pretty long. This from the LA times of a run-down of politician who have been exploring the idea of running. The first four are ones that the Times says have the most buzz right now. I'd take any of the other three over Sanders right now. Just saying, Sanders supporters are turning people off from Sanders the candidate through there wild claims, unjustified confidence and plain old loony tunes comments.

There are fresh faces and old hands. Thirty-somethings and senior citizens. Billionaires and at least one person still paying off student loans. A skateboarder, a brewery founder and a coffee magnate are all taking a look.

Dozens of Democrats are thinking about running for president in 2020.

The result could be a divisive, messy set of primaries, but many Democrats are exhilarated by the prospect of a wide range of choices, mirroring the congressional races in 2018.

“If there’s one thing we learned over the last two years, it’s that primaries are a good thing,” said Amanda Litman, founder of Run for Something, a group established after President Trump’s election in 2016 to recruit and train young progressives to run for office. “They make our party stronger.’’

So, let 'er rip. Why Cult of Sanders would settle so quickly on a has-been from last primary is beyond me. This is the photo the times put up:





Biden on the left, Bernie on the right. Kind of says a lot about the author's perspective. Mine too. But then again, Cult of Sanders might be the reason for my bias. That photo is the face of his supporters.

You can't win a nomination in today's political climate without declaring Democrat or Republican

This narrative you're trying to push that Sanders should just run as an Independent is an admission that you're troubled by his candidacy, because if he does run as a Democrat, he might actually win...

So can we put that to bed, now? "Sanders isn't a Democrat, so he shouldn't run as one!".. Well, unfortunately for you, he's forced to within the confines of our two party political system, so get used to it. If Sanders isn't popular among Democratic voters, what exactly do you have to worry about if he chooses to run on the Democratic ticket again?

Why would anyone within the Democratic party choose to oppose the most popular Senator in the country who caucuses with the Democratic party who has the best chance of defeating Trump in 2020? You would think they would embrace him and prop him up like they did Hillary Clinton, but they don't, because he threatens the status quo.

You've haven't gotten over Bernie's loss in 2016.

I never really got over breaking up with my first love either. But I moved on and it was for the better. I'm kind of embarrassed about hanging on too long my friends got kind of tired of it..
