It’s been 24 hour since I removed the remaining membrane holding the cotyledons together. They have opened up but seem to have brown/yellow tips. The first set of leaves seem to be deformed or just growing really slow. Is this plant healthy and worth it? Pic looks wet but just misted with water bottle.

idk about the coloring but my guess is your over watering? have a seedling just like that membrane was stuck on for about 2 days since sprouted until i removed it. of the 3 it is the slowest growing one with some deformed first set of leaves as well but still growing. the leaves are not yellow. im growing in roots organic original soil, i water with just plain tap water not PH'd. the ONLY thing i've added to the grow thus far is Myko's in the granular form under the seeds when i planted them as well as Voodoo juice and thats it.
literally checked the roots on the biggest plant they are fucking crazy and starting to wrap around the solo cup.
1 thing i need to bring up though is; why are you misting?
here is my 2cents. 1. possibly over watering ( maybe stop misting them and water normally? and less often i water my seedlings so far every 3 days. literally just watered them 5minutes ago because i had to check the root system shit felts dry though after just 2 days now but i do run my lights at 24/0 ) 2. possibly soil is too hot or just bad in general? what kind of soil are you using? maybe others can chime in it doesn't look healthy though

What size container are you in ,I agree you have to be careful not to hurt the roots with too much water
looks like he is using some sort of plastic cup. i can see the reflective white like how solo cups are on the inside got the white plastic and it's kinda shiny looking
Anything you should suggest I do? Will avoid watering for the next day or so. I am also running under 24/0 light schedule. The first set of leaves seem to be growing just very slowly.
just my 2cents; STOP misting. water them normally and try not to over water. ffof is kinda hot but i had no issues with it growing my seedling slightly bigger then that in it that i fucked up by over watering with my first grow. it didn't yellow. idk how hot roots organics is but it does contain nutrients as well and my seeds do fine in them.
so i stand by my opinion at least of the issues. 1. your overwatering/need to stop misting 2. FFOF might be too hot for that seedling in general

Root system seems to be taking a while to develop. Do you think most of the energy is being focused on the roots causing leaf development to be slow? Trying not to mess with it but root seems to be a little bit longer then 2”. No side roots branching out just single root growing down.

i literally just water normally with a spray bottle or a small cup like a solo cup. since i mix my voodoo juice in the past 2 waterings first one i mixed 1gal for my bigger plants as well over flowed by a lot. tonight i measure close to 1/2 a Liter of water dumped out a bunch so it was somewhat closer to 1/4th a liter give or take. plants took almost all the water. i did get run off but it isn't a giant puddle of water. for 3 seedlings bigger then that. had it been that size it would still take the same amount but suck it up faster due to the plants size.

I planted about 4 days ago. I believe it is overwatering that is causing this. Going to wait a few days and see what happens. Doubt she will bounce back being this young but nothing else I can really do. Thankful the other ladies are doing good.

The plant is healthy. You waited too long before you removed the membrane - that's the reason for the brown/yellow tips on the cotyledons, the deformed leaves, and it has contributed to some of the slow growth. If you want fast growth you need to aerate the soil with more perlite to increase the oxygen to the roots. I suggest a 70/30 soil/perlite mix. Good luck.
if only 4 days then yea i think over watering issue. mine sprouted didnt remove membrane or shell on day 1. day 2 i removed the shell only figured it would take care of the membrane but it didn't. day 3 membrane still on so i misted to soften it because i couldn't remove it manually without fucking up the plant it was stuck on pretty badly. at end of day 3 after work maybe 9-10 hours later from misting membrane was pretty much off but still holding the leaves closed a little so i removed it manually wasn't yellow or anything.
this has slowed my plants growth for sure that is a given but the yellowing at only 4 days compared to my 3 days i don't think it being stuck on is the issue unless it was like an entire week maybe?
you still didn't tell us how much your watering and how often that would help to clarify.
