Where she's at, beginning week 6

Bag seed auto, DWC &CMH. First showed sex early Dec.
Been fighting Cal def since 2nd week, that's when the stems started go purple too.
I'm thinking 3 weeks left.

Opinions and criticisms are welcome.

I realize that 3 weeks might be wishful thinking.
I'm going to have to make a frame to hold her up definitely top heavy, found her leaning over pretty bad tonight, she's tied & propped up for now

Nice work, she is looking good. Are your temps getting low at night? I get more of the purple stems when PH is off or the temps get too cold (mostly my issue as the basement is 62-ish F)

Just checked it's 65F, ph 6.0 - 6.3

Yeah, your temps might be getting too cold at night. Not sure if your floor is cement like mine, but if it is, I recommend a rubber Yoga mat under the container to help insulate it from heat loss through the cement. It has worked well for me.

She's getting top heavy, found her half tipped-over against the side of the tent. Got her propped up with a mop for now.
The girl next to her was just flipped.




Tried a peonies cage to hold her upright, that didn't work out well. Imagine a wrapped Christmas Tree, so I'm using it to grow my latest in.


I also have a runt in week 4, I should have thrown it out when I realized what it was

Nothing worse, a few things are, then opening your tent and seeing your poor girls being lazy. Last grow i had over 50 individual hanging yo-yos holding them up

Fox-tails and calyx turning purple
Raised light to max, which was only a couple of inches.

pH is probably too high, thats why the leaves burnt in a stripey pattern. Try and get it down to 5.6 - 5.8

Lollipop it now, energy being wasted on all that lower leaf......after that, 3 weeks tops.

Purple can come from low temps at this stage in growth from the research I've done. The buds on my plants below the canopy get 7-8 degrees cooler then the canopy. My lower buds are starting to show hues of red, pink and purple. Was worried it was something nefarious until I took one off, cut it in half and scoped it.

I back this statement with, I know way less than I don't know!

True it is a possiblity but wouldn't it show in other places on the plant as well? But it is true that that lower temps from night to day in late flower can cause purpling.

I have found that it shows mostly in fan leaves that get a lot of light and developing bract/calyx.

Swapped out my circulation fan for a much smaller one, tent temps are up a bit and ph is 5.8 now.
