Ideas when short of space?!

Hi guys, have a slight issue, or will have soon!

Ok so I have a small tent - 60x60x150cm

I was only using it for one plant at a time, though I had some issues with last grow, after a long time trying to rectify issues, I scrapped the plant. (It was worse than you think!).

I took a clone, just to see if it would take. No root hormones, just dropped in a glass of rainwater and stuck in the dark for couple weeks. In that time I planted a new seed in a new medium (As last medium contributed to the shit show of a grow).

Now I have both growing. New one is about 4 weeks old and in 1gallon pot. How would you guys go about keeping both space wise?

My final pots are 16L. Both will fit in the tent though not sure about the trays they sit in!

Thinking of flipping them soon but wanted to get your opinions first on how you’d deal with the lack of space? I have a Scott net. Haven’t touched either plant training wise yet.

What would you do with 2 plants in this small space? Didn’t expect the clone to take if I’m honest!

Cheers guys

You need to grow more in a small space, use vertical growing techniques.
I have read a tiny bit of info on vertical growing... but if I’m honest I wouldn’t know where to begin!

Is there an idiots guide of how to vertical grow?

i think he was talking about SOG ( sea of green ) idk much about it but the general sense it looks like is you cram a bunch of small plants together and grow vertically. supposedly it used to be a popular thing but not anymore; not sure though like i said dont know much about SOG technique

Yes there's a forum on vertical growing here, check it out! ..or you could buy a bigger tent?

I was hoping there was a way to do it without buying a bigger tent! I’ll check out vertical growing and see if I could get that to work, if not, I’ll have to check out something a bit bigger!

Place the lights beside the plant, place a trellis upright and grow the plant right on up. They do it all by themselves, as if they've been growing up for millions of years or something! LMAO

Haha

I have to say. That sounds a lot easier than what I was expecting!!! So just a light in the middle, and a trellis between the plant and the light for it to grow up the side of?
Sounds interesting and easier than buying and putting together a bigger tent!

Place the trellis against the wall of the tent and train the plant up the trellis on the inside. Maintain good airflow and keep the plant well trained and trimmed.

This is my space here! Its 40" x 60" x 18" deep. Pretty small but I get the most out of it. 6 plants at a time. Average 13 oz per run. You can do most strains, but obviously shorter is easier. They are flipped after 6 wks from seed. During veg I use a combo of mainlining and lst to keep them short and manipulate the structure so that I can fit them all in once they get bigger. Plants finish around 30" tall. I also tranplant in the second week of flower, which helps cut down on the stretch. I have been growing like this for many years and have the experience to tailor things to my set up, but its not that hard to learn and I would be will to answer questions if you needed!

I was considering mainlining and trying to keep each plant in one half of the space somehow but I don’t think I have the techniques down enough to make it work! I have like 150cm height, but I only have 60cm x 60cm space though!

I was considering getting a slightly larger 80cm x 80cm x 180cm height but I’m not sure it would make that much difference!

Probably the trellis on the side of the tent idea would work best.

Lots of tech for small space. These are both good suggestions. Got to have the right light for whichever you decide on. Good luck. Feel free to ask!
