Brown spots and yellowing

Yes always by weight of pot.

These girls were only transplanted from solos into these 3G pots 2-3days ago, at the time they were watered a few inches out from base of stem. Never soaked the whole pot yet. as with my last grow, the second or third watering after transplant is when I began soaking the pots and then waiting till they dry out real good and are light to lift before watering again.

Ok. Seems good. They’ll probably grow out of it, this maybe counter intuitive but a foliar spray of kelp helps if its nutrient stress. Underline the if in that sentence.

If you try not pH'ing your water in Fox Farm ocean Forest you wish you did. Instead adjust your pH properly and consistently to 6.5 for best results

This was what i was told and understood to be correct before i started my first grow. PH`D WATER, 6.1-6.6 range for soil nute uptake. I kept my water ph`d within range for that entire grow so far and haven't had any issues at all.

Which is why i was kinda blaming my ph pen and some outta range water for causing the spots. Then i read i didnt have to ph my water in FFOF and im more confused than ever lol

Dude, everyone is different and does the same shit differently. I’m just telling you, in an organic amended mix. You don’t need to ph. Thats just what i do and have more than satisfactory results. As i told you, look up into organics. Its the decaying organic matter thus the microbes is what feeds the plant in an organic situation. If you’re going to feed chemical ferts, i would ph too. But in that case i wouldn’t throw money for ffof. Thats all.

I Noticed the spots couple days ago after transplant. Noticed the yellowing yesterday and it's showing on the tip of another leaf aswell.

No nutes given yet
Ph'd water. 6.2-6.6 + amor si


Ph fluctuation?
Nute burn from the FFOF?

I don't really see anything to worry about yet

so you can understand the confusion for a newbie like myself, when i am literally being told both ways are wrong lol and both ways are right.

I am here to learn and apply. you guys are all so much smarter than i in this field, just trying to figure everything out.

Would getting ph`d water directly on those leaves cause discoloration or the spots maybe?

they have always sat low , near or in the soil, getting splashed when watereda few times im sure.

im wondering if that could be the cause?

Dont over due stuff. Keep it simple. Thats maybe the problem

Bro, its everyones personal journey. We learn from our mistakes and better ourselves. Now you can actually contact the company and ask them for the most reliable info. Me, personally only used biobizz light and all mix and plagron bat-mix. Never phed. Never had any problems.

If it can get any simpler than what I am doing, by all means tell me lol

This is what my grow has consisted of so far , currently day 14 flower


Open soil
Put soil in pot
Put seeds in soil
Ph water only, until nutes from soil are depleted. Last grow that was 40+ days.
Transplant to final pot
Feed 1 part floranova bloom

I spent more time training them outta boredom lol

I am being sincere, if you know a way to make it even easier, I am open to suggestions lol

I don't think I would pH water. You'd just make the entire contents a little acidic, probably not necessary. Plain water or buy distilled from a store if you don't feel good about your tap water.
