Just got a catalog update from West Coast gift and in there is a Ross Rebagliati grow tent https://www.legacybrands.ca/grow.html LOOOOOOOOL
That was around 2009 can't remember whether is was polypropylene or polyethylene that was the issue. I had to deal with that for a while. Sold lots of 8x8 tents with guy putting in B-Pods in them on top of that digital ballasts that were giving off serious RF lolI think I recall @zoic had one of those tents and it killed his stuff. Not sure on the brand it was but some tent he had did that...think so ??
For paint if you can Titanium Oxide white its a one pigment white and very reflective. For tents cheap ones will have cheap zippers and skinny poles and thinner outer shell. I don't mine the Mammoth Pro tents. Ok price and thicker galvanized poles. I wouldn't spent money on Gorilla $700 for a tent LOL fuck off.I've been looking at different tents and kits, but I don't really know what is good and what is shit. I am leaning toward building a 5 x 5 out of wood instead and buying LED's and filters etc. Any concerns with the type of paint I use for the walls?
I hear ya on the price but Gorilla is just hands down better, cut and dry. 1680D thickness nylon. Most have 600-800D. Thicker metal poles and sturdier joints, you can see videos of people doing chin ups in the gorilla tents, and the height adjustment option(up to 10') means you could run a DE HPS in a tent without issues. Growlights.ca carries a "no name"adjustable brand tent but I have no idea how the quality is.For paint if you can Titanium Oxide white its a one pigment white and very reflective. Hmm for that much money I'd rather build it out of wood or use the extra to get better equipment or at least a portable AC.I hear ya on the price but Gorilla is just hands down better, cut and dry. 1680D thickness nylon. I don't disagree that their prices are out to lunch. Around $600 for a 4X4. But if I had higher ceilings I'd go for it. Oh and if I had extra cash burning a hole in my pocket.
Oh no doubt. But as far as tents go, they're the best going for the time being.Hmm for that much money I'd rather build it out of wood or use the extra to get better equipment or at least a portable AC.
I built mine with2x4s and that white/ black poly. Had it for yearsI've been looking at different tents and kits, but I don't really know what is good and what is shit. I would just staple the white side of black/white poly on the walls. Like 50$ a 10x100 roll or something. Or you could use Mylar I guess. The white poly is super reflective, I definitely notice the difference on the sides of my table that are white vs the open end.I've been looking at different tents and kits, but I don't really know what is good and what is shit.
