Sounds like you're making the best of a less than ideal situation. Best of luck grower!North Africa, can't be specific due to obvious reasons but i moved here 2 years ago, and it sucks, can't find perlit, can't find PH Up n Down, mostly they run out, did find coco bricks, but the PH is very important in coco coir, to be at certain levels, that's why i'm gonna be using peat moss, the only substrate i found that has 80% peat moss and 20% perlit but you can barely see the perlit in the soil, asked a friend to get me some, if i had access to everything i'll be the happiest person.
