can the 42watt lights mentioned in buds for less be purchased from homedepot? are those the nvision lights?

I see 42 watt cfl's, but i'm not sure if they put out the same ammount of lumen's as in the book.

Don't know what Buds for Less is but you should be able to buy 40 or 42 watt daylight CFL's at Home Depot or Lowes, They do stock bulbs that size.

The bulbs will have the lumens listed on the package in the store, for VEG you can just use any 42 watt cool white, daylight or full spectrum CFL, just depends on what they carry. Just look for a color temperature 4100K or higher if you are confused in the store.

They are the nVision, and be careful not to overheat the small self-ballasts, I burned two out in a aluminum dome reflector. It took me two bulbs to figure out that they were burning out. I'm not sure if it's nVision or what. Maybe their cheap, not sure

you could flower with those. i wouldn't recommend it though. you need a more reddish color for flowering, like say 2700k-3500k (soft white). you might even find a sale on those, they're bought a lot more because people like the color similarity to the old incandescent bulbs that they're replacing.
