The wallet... the Gram/Watt meter... the quality meter... the high meter... all kinds of reasons why I want my buds to be fully developed...Who cares if the bud density isn't quite as good?

4 foot..but if you only have a four foot high grow area, the benefits of T5 fluorescent lights will outweigh the drawbacks.
A cabinet grow? That's pretty impressive, although if you had more horizontal space I think a t5 system would work at least as good in that situation. What are your yields like? When I did the calculations I was assuming more in the 250-400 watt range. I would not use a 400 watt light in 4 feet of space, but i think a 250 could work well.4 foot..
i currently am growing with a 70w hps in exactly 1 foot of height. including the pot, plant, light and a cooltube.
Me?dogglet forever said:ME LIKEY... where did you get that frame?
If you are looking at a frame to be covered... I think PVC pipe would work...What do you guys suggest I use to make the enclosure? 4x4x4 is about the size I'd use.
+rep going to WM to buy one now that's a great Idea, maybe check the Dollar store too for a cheaper version, that beats the heck out of building one myselfMe?
For the new tent??
You liked it???
The pictures are all at my journal... page 21 I start the build.. I think...
But that is one of those portable wardrobes, that I wrapped in panda film...
$25 at WM..
I hope you were talking to me...lol...
Gypsy...
Uh.. Careful Asher... by the time I got the tape.. zippers... wood for the bottom...etc... I was very close to a ready made tent of similar size...+rep going to WM to buy one now that's a great Idea, maybe check the Dollar store too for a cheaper version, that beats the heck out of building one myself
PVC causes testicular cancer, is there an alternative?
Uh... I thought I gave them already...one could easily use PVC pipes to make a frame.... or 2x2s... or even modify the WM wardrobe to diff dimensions... buy cutting or adding tubing and using the corner pieces to connect them....
Where can I get this "WM wardrobe"? A google product search reveals nothing suitable for a grow tent.Uh... I thought I gave them already...
But one could use wood... steel aluminum... or any other material we have not yet found out what it causes... (lol just pulling your leg mate... I want to keep my jewels healthy..!!!)
I personally think the WM wardrobe frame is a good choice at $25... I didn't modify mine at all as the size was perfect... but you could easily...
I think that is the best alternative... thin steel tubing with plastic "corners" that allow a perfect fit... without glue nail or bolts...
Just my opinion though.. did you see the tent a page or two back... he used 2x4s and it came out great too... but heavier and bigger...
I'm sorry... I just hate advertising... especially the big guys...Where can I get this "WM wardrobe"? A google product search reveals nothing suitable for a grow tent.
I don't know of any other sizes.. but I doubt they do, as anything shorter would not be an effective wardrobe... your coats or dresses would run against the bottom...5 feet might be a bit too tall, and I don't have the tools to cut it down to desired size. Do you know if they have a smaller model?
