New Room

ok so once this run is done I’m building myself a 4 foot wide by 8 foot long by 8 foot high actual room. I will be building a fake wall in one of the spare bedrooms to section off for a flower room and use the rest of the room to veg and mix and such. The section I will be using for the flower room has a window in it that I was going to completely cover up. Currently I vent into the room next door to it and just draw fresh air from the room the tent is in I was thinking of just running with that same set up for the new flower room as well. Any thoughts or ideas for me would be greatly appreciated I could also draw up a scetch of my plans I have if need be.

This may be the most lackluster post I have ever read.

I think for dinner, I will have Mac and cheese. I currently am drinking coffee.

Heat vent? Is that connected to the house AC? We don't really use AC in houses in UK so not sure on how they are set up.

I would do as you plan but box around the window allowing air intake from that, that is assuming the heat vent is not usable for cold air intake.
What about the veg room? Extract through the wall again?

Perhaps other folks would have a better idea though!

Yeah furnace duct/central air conditioning. It’s currently -40 today where I live so I don’t think taking in air from outside is very good for 6 moths out of the year. Veg room is just a 2x4x6 tent in the rest of the open room.

I was going to go into the attic and tap into my bathroom fan to exhaust the veg tent since it’s pretty much directly above the tent. D9059769-5598-4BDB-B098-B1A5A0B2C1F7.jpeg

Have you thought about sealing the room and supplementing co2, keeping the heat in and using a scrubber to recirculate and clean the air.
Any idea on temps in there with and without lights? What you going to run, a couple of 600w or 1000watters?

I’ll be running a full cob set up. A total of 10 so temps won’t be a problem at all. I have thought about going the sealed route but that can come in the future. As for right now I’m trying to simplify things as much as I can for myself.

If I was going to have a room like that.

I’d have 2 32” exterior doors with a 12 - 16” gap in the middle.
This way you can work on the whole room with out trying to get in there . Once in late flower you’ll have a lot of trouble getting to 3 & 4 .
Or turn your design 90, and make it 13 x 6 , so you have room to move around your plants , this would also give you room to make a two point entry.

Hook up a 4” fan blowing into the room low, if not any time your exhaust fan kicks in it’s going to whistle , sucking air in to equal the pressure .

That’s a great idea for multiple entry points thank you. I was already going to be putting in a 6” intake fan with a hepa filter

Fogot to add I also have 2 16” oscillating wall fans which will be going on each side of the room. And a 6” intake fan at ground level with a hepa filter attached. And a 6” fan exhausting out.

Those accordion closet doors may help give lots of access but not take up much space when open.
