Not an easy question man.

You've got some phenotypes of plants that are usually nice and short that end up being twice what they usually are.
And of course vice versa.
You'll need to just start popping beans and finding out what's goings-on with each one's structure during VEg and especially once you flip. Then the tall ones, grow together, and the short ones grow together. Just take lots of clones before you flip of course.

i've run 4 different in rdwc all the time. you just have to realize that you have find a nute mix that works for all of them. unless you want to feed all 4 differently which i thought was too much work.

Yea for sure I'm stick with trying atleast two diffrent strains for now, maybe run whole run with same strain phenos.

Yea I ran superskunk and LA con separate containers same time and superskunk handaled way more nutrients than my LA

I know people like variety, but....

Running a couple different strains at the same time is way too much hassle, regardless of growing method. Trying to get the nutes right is one thing... but what about all the rest.. the light height, canopy temp, humidity?

Trying to find a balance that the strains can all live with means all of them must compromise and all dont get grown to full potential... and you learn just a little bit about each strain each run, instead of a lot about one strain.

So why not take the time to run one strain at a time... learn a few as well as you can, while at the same time discovering which strains are similar enough to run together?

So the OPs question is a good one, nevertheless. Maybe somebody out there has done the legwork and can save him some time?

I can offer that Northern Lights would do great alongside RockLock. Two squat strains that like heavy nutes and as much light as you can give em. Take the tall NL seedlings because they dont grow very high and take the short RL seedlings because they will stretch more...

trial and error is pretty much the only way to figure this out
good starting point is selecting strains with similar flowering time, similar indica/sativa ratios, similar structures, similar nutrient needs, etc. some of this info may be available from others or your own experience, but sometimes the same strain will behave a little differently in different environments
i monocropped to start, and gradually incorporated new strains one plant at a time. ive found a few that play nicely together, ive also had a few that were bratty little shits and were never completely happy in mixed company no matter what i did

I big on one strain, one room. They all finish at the same time, level canopy. Or at least one strain per reservoir (different nutrient likes).
